Content is content. He could had not done and pre work at all. The fact he took time to keep us coming in for new stuff despite him not being available means a lot. So he could spend 6 months doing this and I wouldn't mind at all.
He has done a ton of work for our entertainment for all these years. He deserves whatever he needs honestly.
He is one of the few youtubers worth watching. No bs no drama no scams. Just good content and amazing friendships with us.

To be frank, putting aside the physical ability differences, all the Rider would need to do is hit Logan with the: "Look into my eyes, your soul is stained by the blood of the innocent, feel their pain."
Agreed. The ability to weaponize regret (which is what the Penance Stare essentially is) strikes directly at what is probably the only real weak point Wolverine has.
The penance stare wouldn’t necessarily work on Wolverine. If he was in a berserker state it absolutely would not work because he would not be in his right state of mind and would be uncaring to extreme violence.

@@peteschweddy4263 doesn't quite matter. Even without the Penance Stare, Ghost Rider has still got hellfire, which attacks the soul. Wolverine's body may be nigh indestructible, but he can't heal his soul. Also, for some power scaling:
Mephisto fought Galactus and won.
Ghost Rider fought Mephisto and won.
Penance stare would leave Wolverine drooling , quivering and quaking in the corner . Soiling himself.
That really depends which timeline we are in some of them he never kills an innocent person and so would not feel guilt or remorse for his actions

Ghost Rider overpowers Wolverine more often than not any time they find themselves tussling, and I'm pretty sure the healing factor won't counter the penance stare. Ghost Rider wins.
This Ben Percy Ghost Rider series is so damn good! Met him at the OKC con a few weeks ago and he was so nice!

Other than that Zathros can literally consume a soul just eat it up like a 5 course meal unless somehow Wolverine gets his hands on a holy weapon
agree that was exactly the thought that popped into my head. ghost rider. every time. he's a cosmic level threat. wolverine is absolutely a badass in every way. but he's outclassed by the rider in every measure. even wolverine's famous healing isn't on par with rider's ability to outright shrug off anything but holy damage
Right, at best Wolverine could fight like hell for days to delay the inevitable, but the Rider bends to nobody unless they literally have universal hacks

9:00 I’d have to give it to Ghost Rider. Wolverine has way too many sins & way too much conscious to win that one.
God if there’s one person I’d love to see get the ghost rider entity, it’s Johnny storm! He becomes living plasma and flame, can create constructs out of flame, fly and can go hot enough to practically become a supernova. If he became the ghost rider, all those abilities get a hellfire enhancement. Hell fire burns through almost anything, and Johnny basically covered in that makes him crazy dangerous, hell even his supernova ability with hellfire would be so damaging that Mephisto would have to take notice. I’d love for Johnny storm ghost rider to be called: ghost torch or Hell torch!

This ghost rider would basically be able to scorch WAY more than that without the power cosmic, I stress again, WITHOUT the power cosmic! Hell Fire already burns just about anything, but Johnny storm has the literal power to make it hotter than it ever was before in just Blaze’s hands.

I remember benny/comicstorian already post this kind of story, but still gonna watch it.
Ghost Rider wins 10 out of 10 times, for certain. He is, in reality, completely impervious to all of wolverines powers, has unlimited stamina, is far stronger, and would eventually just wear him down. Ghost Rider is ridiculously powerful and only really insane supernatural powers will actually affect him.
If there's one thing comics books have taught me that apply to real life every single day....never trust the government with anything.
We need a ghost rider version of venom verse

Hate to think of these 2 characters having an all out brawl. I'd rather see them as a team and with a movie together. They can have little skirmishes here and there,but always come together when shtf. There's a lot of unlocked material here.

The effect of the Penance Stare on Venom was interesting it felt the pain but the instant The Symbiote realized this burning sensation wasn't caused by fire the Penance Stare stopped being effective

There's something I'd like to put forward for your videos as a suggestion... would it be possible, during each intro, to tell us when the story came out in comic form ? Obviously the content takes a while to create and isn't always totally up to date with the comic world and I also like watching your back catalogue. I guess I'm always kind of curious as to where in the timeline these stories take place and how current they are because there are just so many stories/ universes etc.

looks like after reading Hellverine #1 that Bagra was sent to hell by damnation stare. That last panel might have just been a teaser before they knew for sure how they were taking story.

Hey, for anyone who likes Mephisto; Go read Mephisto vs Fantastic Four (Mephisto vs Franklin Richards), Mephisto vs Xmen and Mephisto vs Avengers. They're great mini-series. I read them as a kid in the late 80s when they came out and it started me on my comic book collection.

I have all my fingers crossed that there is a side quest in the Wolverine game where you can unlock the hellverine by murdering mutants. But of course now we’ll have to pay for that part of the game

Bro... With all the mental anguish and memory issues Wolverine has; One Penance stare and he's done. I love Wolverine, and he may have physical regen powers, but the guy has mental/emotional scars that will never heal. Making him relive the whole Mariko Yashida death (sure she was already dying, but Logan dealt the final blow) would have him down and out.

Wolverine is weak to mental trauma. With his berserker rage, he has plenty of unresolved and probably even unknown sorrows to feel guilty for. The penance stare would wreck wolverine.

Just my personal opinion and not saying it's fact. Knock-down and drag out fight? If we're including all the powers in this fight and it's to the death then Ghost rider for sure, just because of the hell fire and penance stare. I don't know if it's been written but I'd "assume" that magical hell fire can heat adimantium to a point that'd be harmful to wolverine. But for me and just using strength and not broken abilities I still think ghost rider, I'm not 100% versed in ALL ghost rider comics but I haven't heard of him being "killed". Sure hurt beyond a point and dismembered but not "killed". Wolverine could cut him to shreds and heal all the damage dealt out, but I dunno about something that messes with a soul or spirit
3:26, What was the name of the story when Xavier became the ruler of the Astral Plains? I can't recall if he was possessed, or if it was really him, but it was even on the cover of one of the issues. Who knows what story that story was named? My little brother had that issue, but we don't talk anymore, so I can't ask him.
