Can the commentators please be more mindful about how much they talk when deals are being made or when threats are happening? There were multiple instances where I had no idea what deal was made because you were talking over it the entire time. I know it's hard because it's a long game, but you don't need a comment on everything or fill the void. Sometimes it's better just to let the players do the talking.
Totally agree with this, I enjoy the insight from the commentators but sometimes it drowns out important events and I'm more lost. Also, a pet peeve of mine is when the commentators start having a totally separate conversation away from the game and I also can't follow what is going on
Hello guys can you possibly help me and my friends out a little bit with how they set up the game like this in Tabletopsim? We have failed miserably and played all pick in the end but we'd like to play a draft like this. Maybe we didn't update the mod properly or don't know =D
i hope someone reads this :( can someone please explain to me why yellow is removing a command token at 1:23:47 ? in the previous round this system got activated for production and in this round he played Imperial. I dont get it :(
Hey there. Mahact used their agent to follow Imperial which removes one of the command tokens from the board. It was part of a deal so it was that system
wow.. thank you very much! edit: lol i just realized that its actually you? the yellow player? :) uff i'm playing as Letnev in our next TI4 game.. and as i am not an expert, i'm trying to get as much information on game moves as possible :) thank you!!!
@@s1lenceSRG Yeah, I was having a tough day since I woke up. After this game I tried to relax by seeing Dune 2 in theaters. I not only drove to the wrong one but also got the time wrong by over an hour.
Can speakers be quiet while players discuss the deals? first deals on board (23 minutes only) and already annoying upd. all 2nd round and half of the 3rd yellow just "I have 1 token in fleet, have more ships in some slices. That's ok" and nobody noticed...
I genuinely can't tell if this is the most dry good natured sarcasm, or if everyone at this table is passive aggressive af, I'm going to assume good natured sarcasm but damn lol
Fleet logistics is such an insane technology. It honestly should be 3 blue and lightwave 2 blue. I think no single tech (aside from perhaps gravity drive) has more game-winning potential than this one. It's also wild that in a "tournament" game, that "Patrol Vast Territories" gets revealed and nobody addresses the single destroyers occupying planet-free systems. It's like fatigue-blindness.
It would be great if you zoomed on map a bit more. Its quite difficult to read the boardstate when each system is a few pixels wide
Way more important to see the map than to see every single play area.
4 hours and 49min, sees it's hunter's game...yeah that tracks, speedy gonzales ftw

Nailed it.
anyone else wish commentators wouldn't talk over the deals people try to make, or at least talk about what is trying to be negotiated?
yes
As I was writing a comment about how fast the game is, Matt says he hopes for a speedy one. How perfect
What an anticlimactic ending xD Good for the winner: never gave up. Please lets ask the devs to change the colours to something bright
Just started.... Noticed 4 hours and 49 mins 😳
Yep, the fastest semi in the tournament history

Butler Jeeves: another FFG reference (Netrunner)? =)
