well meaning of this song is like she is getting knowing herself as she got aged. when the song "23" came out (when that actually she is 23), she said(in lyrics) she don't know about herself(what she likes, what she wants, how to live etc.), she can't pick a side, she is afraid to be hated by people, and yeah, it tells how she was confused at that year. and the "pallet"(25yearsold) came out and telling people now she knows herself little more and she accepted there are people likes her or hates her, and it's not important thing to her anymore. so that means a lot to fans.
