Yoo In Na so adorable. People saying she was a bit much. Nothing wrong with wanting your entry to do well. That "yah!" to bff IU after she commented on how good the float was... haha! This was fun. Lighten up people! :)

People are ragging on Inna because she named a recipe SENT to her after herself while the guy named a rootbeer float after himself? America has been doing those for at least half a century and I'm sure other places have been doing them for a long time too!

haha, i'm actually Korean, and their dishes doesn't really surprise me, since it's sort of from the actual Korean food. But their fetish of ice cream is so great, i'm surprised no one thought of mixing ice cream with soda.

It's called Root Beer float in the US and it's not since the 60s. It goes back to drugstore counters and the 1800s.
People rarely have this in the US outside of very old folks and for Koreans in "the 60s" even Coke was a very special treat let alone coke with a big hunk of ice cream on top of it
It was common to see kids WITHOUT SHOES in the 60s in Korea a few years after Japanese Colonization and then the Korean War. Kids were literally starving and being adopted overseas
