My first time ever seeing a video on ur channel, bro, THAT INTRO IS OFF THE FUCKIN CHAIN!!! Instantly smashed the sub and like button, awesome video bro!!
Growing up in Florida with an OL dad they've always had control of Florida. Especially after patching over "Big Jim" Nolan 1%er & his club Iron Cross in the late 60s into the Outlaws to become the South Florida chapter. The money chapter in the 70s. I remember those days at both Hollywood clubhouses even though I was still in elementary school at the time. My mom first knew "Big Jim" in the early 60s when she was a young teen. We lived in his Hood Street house in '77 & '78. I also remember as a teen living in the Ocala National Forest (40 miles west of Daytona) that the Outlaws had a Daytona chapter & clubhouse in the 80s around the corner from the Boothill Saloon and across from the cemetery. They were well established in Daytona by the 90s & had chapters throughout the state with control in every major city by the time "Taco" 1%er became international president. Update: after talking to my mom, she informed me that the Daytona clubhouse was already in existence as early as '76. And, OL was already an international organization back then too. One of the first overseas chapters was founded in Norway by "Thor" 1%er.
Respect to your dad, I was a let’s say friend of the OL’s in Davie, then helped them move to 42nd ave in Fort Lauderdale after the first raid. I knew the chapter president for years before OL life, no need for a name. I was there after the bad accident on the way back from Miami, we lost Ed, gangster Bob and another guy RIP. The club house over the next day was crazy, everyone was there, but Taco , so not much respect for him. My brother Dirt felt the same way that day may he RIP.For ever outlaws , outlaws forever!!!!!
@@martyb2484 I can remember the Griffin Red clubhouse & the 56th Ave clubhouse in Hollywood. Before staying at the Hood St house we lived in Felony Flats. I'd walk past the 56th clubhouse to & from school at Sterling Elm. Most days I'd stop at the CH & stay there until Mom or Dad got me. That's where I learned to play pool, pinball, & swim. I remember when "Moonshine" 1%er was killed, "Bam Bam" 1%er was killed & "Dynamite" 1%er too. Went to the funerals at the Pyramid & every time I'm in S.FL I stop in there & go to the OL section to pay my respects. They were some of the best people I ever had the privilege of being raised by & known. O.F.F.O & G.F.O.D.
I left Indy several yrs before all hell broke loose between the Sons of Silence and the Outlaws. From what I've heard it got really dangerous around there. When I lived in Muncie I knew several Outlaws , Pig Pen was one of my good friends. I played in the Eclipse Band out of Indy and we were considered a biker band. A lot of Outlaws followed us and I partied with a lot of them. RIP Pig Pen. I never met Taco Bowman so I learned something from this.
Damn bro you like history as much as I do! I doubt I'll ever go back to school, but if it happens, I'd get two degrees one in history and the other in philosophy.
It was a good 25 years ago or so that i saw Taco's face for the first time in a book about the Outlaws. I was told that he was likely the only hispanic outlaw i would ever lay eyes on.
Most outlaws I've met as a Chicago native are stand up dudes, just not someone you'd want to mess with whatsoever they stand on business. Everyone in Illinois knows they're the OGs of it all, they own bars and invest a lot of their money into legal businesses like the chicago outfit but occasionally you might hear of them involved in funny business. Overall, those days are in the 1980s and 90s, too much heat from what I see.
I've got some stories I could tell about Indiana from the 90s. Memories now. Very much not the same. My son was just in grade school and he's got memories and stories too. I was a very young single mom. I raised a man. Mission accomplished. Oh and looking forward to my first great grand this fall. If you don't do everything you do Hard you're Not living. @samanthaspringman5527 I could share stories, but I highly doubt they'd be as interesting as yours. I'm talking 2015-Now, which, as you know, is totally different from those days. Definitely not the same.
I knew a few Outlaws in south Florida and almost all of them were really cool guys, though there was also a few that you just knew you didn't want to ever mess with.
Harry "taco" Bowman is a f _ _ king legend here in DETROIT CITY... theres 2 clubs here in the "D" that matter. But they have a common enemy that always kind of kept the peace since the 70's 80's and 90's... the HATRED of the HELLS ANGELS. They BOTH have kept the overhyped corprate angels OUT of the state of Michigan... and most definitely wont EVER see any sort of hells angel here in the city of DETROIT. RIDE ON. BROTHER! A.D.I.O.S. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and misinformed as I'm no expert, but I thought the Angels and Outlaws got along or at least had no animosity until, in 1973, aHell's Angel (can't remember his name, Peter something) from NY raped the wife of a chapter president (Sandy Alexander). He then fled to Florida, joined the Outlaws and, when a couple of Angels went looking for him, beat him badly, and were shotgunned to death in a quarry in retaliation. I've even seen a pic from the mid 60's with an Angel riding on the back of an Outlaw's bike, with both patches visible and the Angel having a blast. Kind of a more well known published photo. Also, I thought the Bandidos were originally the dominant club in Sturgis, with chapters all around South Dakota? Again, I'm just a guy who's read A LOT of books and been to Sturgis and other rallies a few times so not someone with connections.
I have seen that shot of a dude wearing an Outlaws patch and a dude wearing a Hells Angels patch riding on the same bike. I have zero idea how it exists.
@@TheTrumpReaper Well, I think back in the 60's when things were a little different and it was all about partying, not the serious business it is today, they may have gotten along, when they weren't encroaching into each others territory. Not sure where that photo was taken.
You're basically right, that's how the war started. Before that there wasn't really any animosity between them. I wonder how many people have died because of that feud and where they'd be now if it never happened. Regarding the photo you mention, that was George Christie, former President of HAMC Ventura. He was a member for about 40 years but left on fairly good terms. Afterwards he was told he was "out bad" and the rumour was put out that he was an informant. Before he left he was a very prominent West Coast leader. He was part of the HAMC leadership negotiating a peace treaty with Outlaws MC. It broke down because Bowman wasn't really interested and thought it would make the club look weak.
I have a few stories. About a small little city chapter. I was just a friend. Never had an old man. Treated with respect and watched over though. I would go help with cleanups after parties. Bring in some home cooked meals from time to time. Do some serious overhaul when scrubbing and cleaning wasn't enough. I had friends that rode and that was it. I didn't brag or try to ride on the coat tails of names. I gave and got respect. When I did go to the parties I always knew when it was time to leave. If you know you know. I was a young single mom. Never afraid to let my son come play in corn fields across the street with the club dogs as I cleaned the clubhouse and yard after parties. I gave what I could when I could. Nothing ever taken. Never taken for granted either.
Maybe you could do a story about the outlaws Orlando president Bear chafin. His funeral was desicrated by police rounding up all bikers in attendance. His widow and daughter looked on in horror as it happened
Bear Chaffin was 100% a Warlock (I believe he was a president). He was an Outlaw prior to becoming a Warlock. Taco ordered his hit due to him forging ties with Hell's Angels
My dad "Philthy Phil the Pervert" 1%er was OL in S. FL. He knew "Taco" 1%er. I remember his predecessor "Stairway Harry" 1%er when I was a kid in the 70s. My cousin "Ying Yang" 1%er is a Mongol.
He was another great brother. I was honored to have road with Taco & Frank 1%ers L& R. Keep up the good work. People judge us old bikers by what they find out by Google some .well Google you got outlaw John LeadHead 1&er Blackman wrong .
My club is in the top 5 clubs globally and I have friends in the other top 5 clubs and Taco is always spoken about in the upmost respect. Taco was with the business.
Buffalo outlaw Jack Coe David Allen Coe brother was feared by outlaws his self. Then there was John the bandit and the old Detroit outlaws the made other outlaw shake when they were around.
Never met him! But always heard he was a “Real Bad Ass” just thinking how u never hear of THE OUTLAWS in any videos, podcasts & he doesn’t have books he’s written etc. Also, I don’t know of any any members who speak after leaving the Club on podcasts etc any ideas or places!!! They seem a “ diff kinda Club”. ❤
I watched the gangland episode on the outlaws the guy who snitched was scrambled for protection but swear he looked like my old neighbor here in Baltimore who was a outlaw. Was supposedly up here to run a md chapter but didnt even have a bike.
Even if it's him in witness protection he's got a huge outlaws tat on his back so can't hide who he was. So makes sense to say he's starting chapter and whatever. He showed me several pics of him and taco together and has the book with more pics of him thru out.
About 25 years I was at house in Michigan my buddy and I gave this girl a ride to see her brother . We got trashed we had no idea of who’s house we were going to. 2 of the guys there belonged to this club . Those guys were so cool dude. I wish I could share this but it shows colours
Maybe you could do a story about the outlaws Orlando president Bear chafin. His funeral was desicrated by police rounding up all bikers in attendance. His widow and daughter looked on in horror as it happened
Wasn’t bear a warlock
@@copedipper772 No, sorry, he was president of the Orlando chapter of the outlaws
I'm sure he's not the only biker with the nickname Bear
Bear Chaffin was 100% a Warlock (I believe he was a president). He was an Outlaw prior to becoming a Warlock. Taco ordered his hit due to him forging ties with Hell's Angels
Bear Chaffin was an ex-Outlaw who joined the Warlocks
Outlaw Forever,Forever Outlaw 😈
My dad "Philthy Phil the Pervert" 1%er was OL in S. FL. He knew "Taco" 1%er. I remember his predecessor "Stairway Harry" 1%er when I was a kid in the 70s.
My cousin "Ying Yang" 1%er is a Mongol.
Sose- The Outlaws had a well known member with the South Florida chapter by the name of Morgan- can you do one on him?
I would need to know the story
He was another great brother. I was honored to have road with Taco & Frank 1%ers L& R. Keep up the good work. People judge us old bikers by what they find out by Google some .well Google you got outlaw John LeadHead 1&er Blackman wrong .
A man among men, this society takes out the lions and end up with sheep, a damn shame
Truth
I would say that the Outlaws have everything east of the Arkansas river.
Good vid.. like the history 🤘

Can the Hells Angels get along with anybody. I don't think so
Next it’ll be a video about operation rough rider 85 with the big red machine in the future. Calling it

Everyone loves Harry Taco!
RIP Taco 🙏
BLACK AND WHITE FOREVER!!!!!!!
Phenomenal brother eventho yt shadowbanning u. I'm not getting any notifications.
Proud to call him my Friend
