I got 3:00 - the vibrant fuchsia and I love it! I was hoping for a blue-toned red but when I saw the shade descriptions, all of the reds sounded like they had orange or brown undertones. I like the formula, it's definitely more luminous than matte I thought, very creamy like a satin lipstick.💄
@@AllisonChase Exactly - since you actually saw them in person I'm a little relieved I wasn't wrong that they were all warm-toned reds but do wish there was one vibrant cooler toned one out of the three. Both the 6:00 and 7:00 looked great on you - enjoy them!!
I found the swatches looked different to how they looked on my lips. Definitely worth trying them on your lips in the boutique. I did and ended up with 5 shades 😂

Hi Alli! I will never miss one of your videos! I will pass on this Chanel velvet matte lipstick - my lips are too dry for anything that isn’t super moisturizing. I don’t really change my makeup or lipstick for an evening. I just ‘freshen up’ whatever makeup and lipstick I am wearing. I do like the rich berry shade. Have a great weekend! ❤
The wear is several hours except for 07:00, it wore away quicker since it's lighter. No, I don't find that they show lip lines more than other lipsticks.
#7 looked so beautiful on you. #6 looked a bit darker than I imagined. I chose 3 & 7. My fave Chanel 'Infrarose' lipstick was discontinued so I hope #3 will look similar to it. Great review and interesting interpretation from Chanel on all nighter type of looks. Makes me want to go clubbing lol
I love 0:700 and I think that both the colour and the time it’s associated with lend themselves to a more sheer wash of colour. Right up my alley ❤ ( it reminds me of Rouge Allure in 337 Camelia Rose, which was LE - and is a fave for me)
💄I got the lightest - 7. The rosewood pulled very brown on me with far less mauve. I was surprised how good 7 looked as I would never usually go for a pink/coral. It’s a lovely color.

The ones tempting me are actually this two ones. 06:00 it's a lovely shade, and I really like how this tonalities look on me...but, to be honest, I never find ocasions to wear this in my actual live. So maybe I end up buying only 07:00 which looks so wasy here and it's also a lovely shade that I don't have right now. Just I'm afraid it could be too orangy ...For some reason, Chanel lipsticks tend to turn orange on me... I love the Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks so much! I wish they had made more of both these lipsticks as the one I wanted is sold out worldwide😢 I also wanted the mermaid baume stick and powder as well as the eyeshadow quad. Why do this? As much as it creates a frenzy, it sold out upon launch in the U.S., which, as a former Pro MUA, now turned filmmaker, creates disappointment. Maybe turns some afficionado to search elsewhere! Allison, I don’t think there is a lipstick color that u cannot pull off. Every color u try on always looks beautiful on you. I’m glad I went with 4:00 instead of 6:00 bc once I saw the color on your lips, I realized I already have a couple Chanel lipsticks that look very similar to that color. I think the story behind this collection is a lot of fun & in my opinion, that’s what makeup is all about…& breaking your wallet. Lol! I had to get off your Instagram page today, bc everything u own, I want. 🤣💄
