Yes, I am from Frankfurt, Germany. We have white nights especially at museums but also in some part of the city. And of course in clubs. I really love to have breakfast afterwards. Even though I am 53, at least one time per year I do (!) have to go bed when birds are tweeting outside. 😀

What a beautiful video! You are absolutely right that the classic colours that are easy to find are the most difficult to make and for them to be elegant. I am a huge fan of reds in general they make my green eyes pop but they also work for everyone. I would suggest for anyone that has redness or pimples to first take down those spots. The surprise was the rosewood! Its so impressive!

Great video! I have 2:00 and 7:00 - I love them both! The formula is amazing - like a velvet on the lips. You don't feel it at all. I'm tempted to buy more, despite the price.

Hi Joanna :) No 7 is a beautiful everyday fresh pink shade. It's very easy to wear. It's suitable for all seasons in my opinion. Just a pretty pink shade :)
I just got limited edition lipstick 3:00 in fuschia pink. Like the color a lot, feels give my face a life. The formula is not dry at all on my lips. Very happy with my selection. I also ordered limited edition blue eyeshadow Rivage quad from Macy’s and on its way… cross my fingers 😊
Would you classify the Dior 999 also as a strawberry red or is it more orangy? I'm trying to compare since I have the Dior one and the Mac Ruby Woo and I wonder if I should get this.
Hello, the last Dior 999 appears red with a touch of orange on my skin. I am travelling over the weekend but I will be back on Sunday and will post in the community comparison swatches of Dior 999 and the new Chanel 2. Dior is darker. It's a beautiful classic red but the latest reformulation has some orange too or at least on my skin it appears so. Please keep an eye on my community posts. xoxo

Have you tried 01:00? It looks more coral pink on the lips than swatch on hand… will it be great on fair complexion?

I love the new lipsticks. I bought #5 and 7. Thinking of buying another but not sure which one yet. I can’t buy it where I live, near portland, Oregon. So I drove to Seattle, 200 miles away, to buy the lipsticks and the last Rivage eyeshadow palette. It’s an easy drive and I made a long day of it.

I have also very fair skin but more neutral toned . And have the 5.00 it’s indeed the most cooltoned and It’s such a beautiful color. I’m very pleased with it .😊

Hi Crissi :) I didn't know there was a new Chanel Les Beiges foundation? I believe they have only one Les beiges foundation - the healthy glow foundation hydration and longwear. They just added new shades recently. If we are talking about this foundation - it is gorgeous. I have a review here: th-cam.com/video/1ACcSZEe1sg/w-d-xo.html they reformulated it 3 years ago.

Hello Angela, I have an addiction for reds and every time I get a red lipstick I tell myself that this is going to be the last for a little while, but I never succeed to my attempt. Last Saturday I purchased a beautiful red creamy lipstick from Ellis Faas which I absolutely love! 02:00 is absolutely stunning though therefore I am thinking about getting it ❤ I have fair skin, too, and I totally agree with you that a nice shade of red makes you look beautiful and alive ❤

Love this lipstick collection, Angela, Chanel did “another one” 😝 what I love about this collection and overall Chanel, that they sell you a dream, a fairytale, a theme , and no one does it…if that would be just lipsticks, I might skip, or pick up one, but now, I already so far, picked up 3 lipsticks- 00, 2, 7. I still looking at 6 . I do not have that color, and it’s not the color, that I usually go for. I always buy warm tone ones. But this color is tempting, especially that doesn’t have too much brown in it. And it’s not so cool? Is it? Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I love this advice, but I’m so tired of buying limited edition any thing. I have the Dior matte lipstick in 720- is this the kind of rosewood you are referring to? I picked up the Dior matte in 999 thinking it would be the right red and 784 as a fuchsia. I’m very fair and a bit cool. Do these sound like good alternatives?
I am new to your videos. I love them. I wanted to share something with you that I learned a while ago. On one of your videos, you were having a problem opening a small foil packet of a sample product. I noticed you opened it in a way that made it difficult to save any of the product. I learned if you want to sample a portion of the product, you can use a straight pin to pierce one layer of the foil, press to use as much as you want and "close" the packet by replacing the straight pin in the packet until you use more. I find these packets are usually of expensive products I want to try before investing in a full size amount. I hope this is useful. I am from Texas, but like you, fell in love with France on an all too short visit. Marie

Hi Angela, thank you for sharing,. am a true Chanel lover , but I must admit , the packaging is not precious enough, cheap black and white plastic. YSL or chantecaille do a much better job. I have the new lipstick in 02, I love to wear an orange-red. The colours look gorgeous on you, so I am tempted to go for 03 as well, since I really appreciate your reviews and comparisons. 03 and 02 together might look like Hermes lipstick 46 - Rouge Exotique? You did such a good job of advertising these lipsticks that I bought the 3:00. It really isn’t worth the money and this reminded me why I have not being buying their lipsticks in the last 10 years. They dried my lips then and this one does not different. The colour is ok but even l’Oreal and other drugstore brands have at least as god colours. Dior and YSL (and even Lancôme) are far better choices both for formula and colour quality. Chanel’s foundations and concealers are fantastic but the lipsticks, I’ll pass.
Hi Aimée, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the lipsticks. I personally like their matte formula. BUT Chanel's makeup changed a lot in the past year. I noticed a negative change in two of their foundations and some eyeshadows that I have been repurchasing for years. Just a small comment: lipbalm and lipstick is a bad combination in general, because then the color transfers to the teeth.
First of all, the fuchsia looks horrible on Asians. This recommendation is not inclusive at all. Secondly, if you are going to do a lipstick video, put all colors on your lips to make it worth my time to watch the video.
