Bechet's Fantasy w/ Evan Christopher & Gregory Agid

During the 2019 New Orleans Heritage Fest season, Evan Christopher and Gregory Agid presented "From Bechet to Batiste" at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. Their concert program celebrates the New Orleans clarinet tradition in all its facets with particular attention to the contributions of Alvin Batiste and Sidney Bechet. Their opener is the rarely performed, "Bechet's Fantasy."
On this occasion, they were joined by Crescent City A-Listers Paul Longstreth, Kerry Lewis & Joe Dyson. WWOZ radio station recorded the event for live broadcast.
