Yes wifi good , there is no mobile phone service
What a disgrace for an international airport. Flown 5times this year, moving walkways never work, I was on 9pm flight and at 19.30 this was shutting up shop with busy cleaners and no hot food left, oh burgers chips £13. After Amsterdam Singapore and Bangkok this place is depressing, it's three sheds in a field despite its gloss.
Which terminal were in? Not the new T2 then
Though most global airports are still better than Manchester
@@jakehowie442 unfortunately it was terminal 02 but by 19.30 most facilities were shutting down it was dead and very depressing. I know alot of work is going on at 2 but after Bangkok & Singapore it's not brilliant. Now I fly Qatar 8.15am when everything's very busy. At nt it's like a cemetery

No sign of what Special Assistance is like there - absolutely dreadful in our experience !
Special assistance there is brilliant. They see my long cane and sunflower lanyard, get us checked in first, through security first and on the plane first.
Is security on the same floor as where the check in counters are? As when i last travelled in 2018 uou had to go up the stairs at t2 for security. Is security near zone E of t2 on the same floor as check in counters? Ans then after security where do you go to find the gates
Security is downstairs once done security you go upstairs for the gates

I have never seen signs which say security, hence a little concerned

@@iramahmed2155 got it yes departures level 2 , then security on same level then one level up to lounge
