- Mbiri pride managed to take down an impala and the male lion had eaten his share and left it for the lioness and the cubs.The lioness began to scramble for the scraps with the cubs and the male lion was not having it.

Mommy also stood up to protect her cubs but Daddy was nearer and responded very quickly. It's rare to see such a direct protection from a lion to his cubs ❤

dad wants his cubs to have food, i think it was one of the Avocca males Darkmane that pushed the lioness off a kill but allowed the cubs to remain that i saw in Wild Earth a couple years ago

Sometime lionesses take there temper out on the cubs not all lioness is loving. Didn't want to them to eat her food
