From FB -1/12/23 - Dear Summiteers, We’re writing to bid a heartfelt farewell to our long-time bassist and best bud, Chad Bowen. Back in 2017, Chad was actively playing with numerous other bands - yet agreed to hop on a bunch of gigs with Blue Summit. It was immediately apparent that to our luck, we’d found one of the most chill and hilarious humans -- Able and willing to both sing AND play a giant acoustic instrument entirely unsuited for travel. We convinced him to join a rag-tag group of semi-professional, yet aspiring kids - and gained a close friend in the process. Through the years Chad has shown a true level of integrity, positivity, humor and musicality that we all strive to uphold. Going forward, he will be prioritizing time with his daughter, Tillie, who will be turning 4 this March! We love you, Chaddy. ❤️ We’re proud of how far this band has come in the last seven years and are so excited to see what holds for us in 2023! Aj, Jan, Scott and Sully
