Wowww!!! Thats immortal song, I use to sing that song during my High School days, I am now 68 years old, Thank u very much Guys...Fm the Philippines👍👍👍
For me, this seems like a huge torch being passed. The flatpicking of Scott and Sully is so balanced. It doesn’t hurt that they’ve got one of the finest mandolin masters charging the runs. Wish I coulda been there.
So right about the torch being passed! And, it could not be passed to a more worthy band than AJ and Blue Summit. They are gracious to one of the pillars of bluegrass the great Peter Rowan! He still sounds fantastic! Thank you all!!
Whether you''re playing Doc watson, Gillian Welch or dylan, your unique arrangements and individual contributions make each number a total joy. Keep it up...,PLEASE!
Paxton wrote it as a folk song, and I like the folksy way best. A bluegrass version is also good, but this folk version is tops. Very smooth, harmonic, and well put together.
I love that song, I love that band. I gotta give special mention to Sully's super tasty solo. AJ is playing a different mandolin, and you all sound great with a drummer. (Just saying). And you guys should consider having that song in your rep. AJ just kills it!
Lovely!!!! If you want to hear a version of this song that is entirely different, enter in "The Last Thing on my Mind - The Move (Incredibly talented british group . . long disbanded)
Its great to see the young musicians and senior musicians share the stage!
Aj's voice is just stunning on this
She is stellar on everything she sings and plays. My new favorite female vocalist.

To quote the late John Hartford, just when you think it can't get any better -- then it does!
Saw Tom Paxton preforming this at the old Main Point just outside of Philadelphia a number of times. Great version!
That's as good as it gets!
A legend, and one in the making
High caliber...
That's as nice a version as I've ever heard! Magical voices!
Wow thank you what a compliment. That's my father and me on the drum kit.
So easy to listen to!!! Great rendition. Thanks A.J. and allthe band.

Fantastic, could do with about 50 more verses maybe 😊
It's subtle here, but Helen always adds a nice dimension to the harmony.
that crosspicking solo.....wowza
Love the look Peter gives Sully…he must be thinking “damn that boy is good!”
More drums on J.S. Bach records, and more 🥁 w/💙grass...!

Nothin' like a tele .
Just a pity some verses have been omitted and the words in one of them changed for no good reason
