I remember when both of these came out I was 7 years old but I definitely remember hearing the teenagers and adults in the hood and riding around playing carter 3 way more than graduation. Both are classics but carter 3 outshines graduation slightly for me💯
Carter 3 was basically the theme music my 08 09 senior year of high school at parties and everything. I remember getting really into Kanye around that time too. Graduation wins slightly because it’s more classic with replay value and that’s definitely when I was becoming more aware of Kanye and that album was revolutionary.
Both are some of my favorite albums ever. If it came down to it I would choose Graduation but Tha Carter 3 is phenomenal. Hopefully one day we will be blessed with a Kanye and Lil Wayne collab project.

TC3 was a better album overall imo but the impact has to go to graduation, and I think Wayne is more impactful in rap in general but graduation still more impactful than TC3 but TC3 is better by a little
Lollipop was the most innovative record in Wayne career. He went from a rapper, to full on pop over night. Same with a record like Phone home. He introduced a new side of himself. Also tie my hands was possibly the most introspective mainstream album of that decade. I can agree graduation was more put together.
