Anyone remember when nova sorceresses were insanely overpowered (back when doing cow levels was the main way of leveling post-game)? You'd teleport into a mass of cows, spam nova for maybe five seconds and most of them would be dead and the rest would be low health.
Long time ago static was was not capped to 50% in hell. Sorcs with max static could bring several screens of mobs to few % HP in 2 sec. The lightest breath of wind would finish them off. They were loved for that. Teleport was only available to sorcs. With telekinesis they could pickup any item from distance and were hated for that. Sorcs were truly unique. Those days are gone. Now every stinky barb can tele around like leprikone.

I literally haven't played this game in 10 years and still know enough about it to realize this guy has no idea what he's talking about, how to synergize the skill tree properly, gear the character optimally, place stat points correctly, or gear the mercenary to compliment the character. This is what happens when someone never gets past the casual stage of playing diablo 2. No, it's nothing to be proud of to be a total nerd and know everything about a game but when you title a video "fastest killing builds in diablo 2" you expect the creator to actually know how to genuinely optimize and BUILD these characters to perform the task he's claiming. This legitimately made me want to reinstall this game and make a few characters just to show HOW to build the proper fastest kill characters just to show him how they are supposed to be built and what they're actually capable of. Huge let down.

manald heal is a bad ring for a javazon 14% mana leech, with 1500dmg javelins, when you take in account damage reduce, drain effectiveness and -66% leech penalty in hell, is about 15mana per throw so instead of spending both ring slots for 15mana/throw, you could use silkweaves that give 5 mana/kill, and since you get about 10 kills / throw on a javazon, that's already more than 3 times more mana/throw, and you get to use 2 soj or soj + raven + facet in helm
There's realistically no purpose in putting more than one point into holy shield for a pure PVM hammerdin that is well geared. The character is so overpowered that the additional points don't really matter and you're better off putting the rest into holy bolt for additional damage on wave 2 of Baal. Points into defiance and salvation are a complete waste, a point in redemption would be better, but that's a waste as well since you'll be lowering the merc's damage while holy bolting but it's nice for the utility. You can swap in nature's peace ring to prevent the skeletons from being revived on wave 2 (super easy nith as well.) Also, using a sacred targe spirit and a rare ring with dex/fcr (ideally with life, fire res, and mf) to hit the 125 FCR breakpoint is critical for speed. As far as a fast killing PVM sorc build; there's only one build type that's worth discussing and that's 200 FCR lightning sorc builds. Griffon's eye (possibly a 2/20 circlet but those get expensive and you'll need an expensive amulet as well since you're losing 5 FCR) + 3/10 light/FCR amulet (or a 2/15+ crafted caster amulet which is expensive and unnecessary) + HOTO or eschuta (need 40 fcr and the build is much cheaper with HOTO due to the resistances) + 35 all res upped VMagi + 35 FCR spirit monarch + magefists + 2x FCR str rings (preferably with life, mana, all res / FR, and MF) + arach + whatever boots you want. There's a lot of different ways to build this character but hitting 200 FCR is critical. Honestly, the 120 FCR MF lighting sorc using full tals (2-2-2 orb w/ ist) ptopaz helm + ptopaz armor + mages + 2x rare fcr str rings + travs does a great job at finding items and since you hit the 105 BP for tele without the rare FCR rings, those slots are optional can be replaced with whatever you want. ETH reaper's toll + andy + treachery for an elemental druid merc is pretty standard as you want as much IAS to get decrep to proc as frequently as possible. Dual HOTO's for tele trapsins is pretty standard although admittedly bad. +3 trap 40 ias +3 lightning sentry greater talons that hell socket quest to two sockets (it's not 100% chance to get 2x sockets) are insanely rare and expensive. Ideal jewels for the sockets would be 15 all res 15 ias jewels and those aren't exactly common as well. I personally don't bother to build extremely high-end trapsins as each claw is worth ~500+ jah/ber runes. Those javazon gloves are beyond mindblowing and expecting to find anything like that is not a reasonable expectation. Honestly, 2/20s are somewhat rare in themselves. Sanctuary RW in a troll's nest or dragon shield for a telezon is really nice for the 70 all res. Who puts cham in a griffon's eye?... No mention of minionless PBN novamancer that uses lower resist and CE to screen clear on p/8 = sad.
in reality every build he showed had sub-optimal gear when you are trying to make the best of the best do the research and show what they really can do this is some early ladder gear at best
@@wolizuka why the hell would you use the trangoul gloves when the cold resist can be maxed out easily even without it(and even if it isn't, fire and light are the priority)... Do you realize the utility that the magefists provide ? Mana regen maybe? Without an insight merc, your mana consumption is a problem... +1 fire skills means +1 to warmth = 12% faster mana regen, now combine that with the additional 25% mana regen that the gloves provide... ta-da there goes your answer why...

First off dude, I love your videos been following you for a little while now. My only issue is other than the fact that you do everything on single player, is that all these builds being extreme end game and pretty much unrealistic unless you’ve been playing regularly for the past few years. I was an original core players who gave it up a while back and I’ve come back-and-forth a few times in the games history recently just picked it back up again. Being able to actually find any of this gear unless you’re a veteran player that’s been playing for a long time is next to impossible. I put together a Javazon on the current ladder but Only good gear I’ve been able to cobble together has mostly been donations from other kind of players. Which is very few and far between online nowadays. I can’t even get myself a damn Titans. Magic find even when I played back in the day always sucked for me was never able to find crap. I don’t even get me started on actually finding enough runes to build any of this stuff.
26:20 the 4 jewels I presume give the 4-296 lightning damage. But from what I remember, that is applied to weapon damage, and sorceress does not use the weapon for damage. It does work for the Javelin of the Amazon
no he using 5/5 light facet unique jewels which give -5 enemy lightning resistance and +5% lightning skill damage which increases the damage of your lightning spells so with 4 its -20 enemy light res +20 light skill damage

17:31 "frw is a really big advantage" which is why you should be using enigma even if you literally never teleport, eni is still better than coh, because it has 45frw
it is a tradeoff, with enigma you get the FRW, MF and STR so you could go for spirit/stormshield with COH you get the necessary defenses i personally go for Treachery (IAS, FHR, @res) and cheap with the other gear going full out on FRW you hit >100 and it is more then enough to get from A to B quickly.
@ the reason you oneshot everything with lf and cs is that you deal lightning dmg, which is not affected by %dmg to demons, making the stat irrelevant. If ed was relevant and tele wasn't, then the best armor would be forty. If you ever move around, eni is 10 times better than any other option. If you never move, a 4s armor with facets is best. If you're broke, treachery. There's no scenario in which coh is a sensible choice, outside of something like "you're broke and someone gave you coh for free AND you don't know how to trade". And if you have points in dodges you're doing it wrong.

@ No. CS has a physical part which is just a regular attack and scales with ed, and a lightning part that spawns lightning bolts, that, like any other spell, don't scale with ed. The lightning damage would scale with ed if it was converted from physical dmg (like lightning bolt, or berserk), which it isn't. Here's how much physical dmg you gain per hit from 200%ed, against diablo, using cs, with the character in this video: base dmg 160-294 average 227 200ed: +454 physical dmg 1600ar lvl88 vs 2500def lvl94: 1600/(1600+2500)*2*88/(88+94) = 38% cth 50%block 45% physical resist => 227*2*0.38*0.5*0.55 = 47 actual dmg per hit Now the lightning damage: 5826 cs 2913 average 9bolts can't miss can't be blocked resist 50-85-35=-70 => 2913*9*1.7=45k actual dmg per hit 200%ed = a tenth of a percent of your actual dmg.
@ 20-20 armor and shield and griffon do grant the highest dmg indeed but mobility is much more important than dmg when you already oneshot things, so eni> gloves = 3java 20ias magic about gores: ow is a low dmg dot that's irrelevant in pvm outside of UT (where you can use it to stop their 1%/s regen) ds doubles your physical dmg, which doesn't matter on a javazon cb is normally good against bosses, but on a java, with 38%cth and 50% to get blocked, it's very much negligible so boots are WT for mf, silks for mana sustain, else aldurs
With me and my Javazon I use the runeword Phoenix in a shield because it offers the Redemption aura when equipped and it solves the running out of mana problem with Javazons. Plus it would allow you to use a different ring or rings such as a Raven Frost. With a hammerdin build I would put a point in to Redemption because of the mana regenerate it offers.
the gloves at 19:25 are not legit if they were perfect they would have 3life leech and 20life, not 6 and 20 even if they're somehow elite blood crafts from 08, they can have 6ll, but still no more than 25life

Summoner necro with max ce and gg merc is the fastest most versatile imo Will expload entire screen in a sec. I would say hdin then light sorc because the time it takes for the animation to reach target with sorc and hdin plus you constantly aim with sorc. Best pvm would be javazon if the fcr break points were viable with enigma
I really dont think you know much about the highest tier of d2, a lot of items could've been a lot better and you also used a hero editor instead of earned items, also if u hit fcr and ias bps you end up doing more dps.

Use a 35% fcr spirit in a st 45@res, replace 1 soj with a 10% fcr ring (also bk are better for hammerdin), and you have a nice 125% fcr hammerdin. Dude literally playing hammerdin with 80% fcr lol.
Hdin Light Sorc Javazon Trapsin - Fire blast with remaining point My last pick would be a summon necro or berserk barbarian. Berserker barb can tele same speed as 105FCR sorc which is faster than 125fcr din and if played properly can clear Chaos sanctuary & nihlathek faster in 8 person games every time. Necro can solo all of the Ubers if played properly so he's quite the tank if you know how to use him. Javazon and Hdin can do ubers as well. With the right pieces of gear in the stash most chars can.
Video is well put together and you are very good at explaining what’s going on. My only concern is the fact that you clearly have no idea what you’re doing. You should try nailing that part FIRST.
You don't find blood gloves you craft them, you can find 3 Java 20% ias gloves(farm gold from travs spam buy random gloves, and join hell games checking vendors), and 4+2 magic javas spawn (6 possible to Java skill total). And ideally you want a Jewelers monarch of deflection with 4x 5/5 lighting facets.
Hey dude, I think you got the basic ideas behind all of the classes correct, but you got some minor things wrong. If you are about optimizing your chars, you should probably get +trap claws on your assassin, you can shop them from anya. Either +3traps or if you take the time, you can get +3traps / +3 lightning sentry. This will also solve your attack speed issue, as claws have a quick attack speed on their own.
I hate the hammerdin because of ridiculous hammer trajectory. The enemies could be punching you right in the face, and you still would not be able to hit them.

Witht he druid, If you're having issues breaking cold immunes with Infinity, you could consider Reaper's Toll instead. Insane raw damage and decrepify breaks most phys immunes.
in classic diablo 2, might, concentration and fanaticism all boost blessed hammer damage. having 3 hammerdins in a game with each using a different damage aura gives you absolutely massive damage.
I feel like it's basically Java sorc, CE necro (psn or summon) in S tier when kitted out. Lighting sorc, trapsin, dream sealer, hammerdins are all great but never seemed to get the same clear speeds if we're talking all-round monsterbashing and not doing something like pit or strictly popping seals and related bosspacks in CS runs. Then of course there are some niche builds for select areas like the pitzerker which may equal or outshine the S builds for the select task at hand.
The pelt at 1:35 and gloves at 19:25 are not legit, cause several of those mods aren't possible. Rare pelts can't get +6... namely the 3 ele skills, same goes for all res, str and fcr. The only possibilty for this helm to exist is from certain private servers. There's way too much major flaws in this video, so i'll point out just a few about Javazon. Dude you have to try a death hand, trang glove+belt+shield psn necro with maxed skeletons. About 350 base dmg/skeletons, 10k psn nova with -90 psn res on gear with 3 facets, -65 res lower resist. It just destroy everything even on P8, CE as soon as they die also (usually in pack). Comes 2nd place by far, probably 1st on other areas than cows and baal runs. Also a dual dream conviction zealer with grief+enigma, wiz spike+spirit on switch for tele and a faith+delerium merc. About 25k dmg/hit, a ridiculously strong holy shock aura and crazy crowd control, better than hdin for me. Almost nothing can kill these 2 builds. 200 fcr nova sorc is much better than a lightning sorc IMO, just use charged bolt for melting bosses. My ranks would be: Nova sorc, Psn nova+skelly Necro, Javazon (1st for p8 cows), Dual dream conv Pally and trapsin. (The holy shock damage 1-3 shot 90% of monsters on p1 with conv on). Cool vid man! I started back in 1.09 in say 02 or 03 and when 1.10 came out and opened so many amazing synergy options. That's when I totally fell in love with my windy druid. I really enjoy your builds and more technical videos very nostalgic. Keep up the good work X.

zon and sorc should be switched imo, obviously sorc has faster runs cause she can telly efficiently. A decked zon one shots basically everything (fastest killing)
Yeaaah Im not sure why I watched as long as I did, but when it came to the HoZ on the HDin, I stopped. Wish this kinda bad input wasnt out there. Missing all kinds of fast cast breakpoints. for having a hero editor, you couldve edited some exact gear.
assasin: can use disciples gloves for cannot freeze+fire res (I think) or trang gloves. Correct me if I'm wrong. You fail to mention that the reason to get cannot freeze on assasin is again, not to lower attack speed, which lowers faster cast rate. Also do NOT get shadow master because it uses the mind bomb skill thingy that captures enemies. But you SHOULD get it for yourself... use it to tank big mobs. Dont put points in fire trap, use fire bomb instead
Silence seems pretty expensive for what it gives you, although the +75% @ res does look attractive. That way you can reach max resists in hell while using Burst of Speed (increased move speed and attack speed is just too good in terms of gameplay).
Tbh hoto and laying of hands instead of trag gloves and silence is way better will give you the same amount of atk speed and more fcr and an extra skill

i havent played D2 since 2002, but back then Lightning Sorcs used mana shield, with dumped points into energy. They were practically unkillable, like the hammerdin. Is there a reason why you didn't do that?
reaper's toll is far better than infy on a windy merc. the vast majority of your dmg is physical. Infy doens't help. Decrep, however, multiplies your physical dmg by ~3 on average. If you can't get reaper's toll, there is lawbringer, which is also better than infy.
Have seen tons of tutorials like this, but nothing that helps you before level 40. Got to be some useful tricks that makes your char to not suck to hard in the start.
Great list. I've had one of each of those but probly my fav was a Fury druid w/ ebotd Tmaul. Def not as much burst as a sorc, would max out at 16-19k, but those 5 hits especially on a single target were just brutal.
i am more of a fire sorc type but i remember my brother's light sorc doing 49k Dmg with 75% chance to block ( max dex until 75% ) and the remaining pts in life .. that sorc is .. mehh.
I will never understand why people want titan's especially to be eth. It is not used for its physical damage but for the lightening damage, for which the extra physical damage comes with being eth is redundant anyway.
nova synergizes with lightning and chain lightning, 1 point in thunder max, dump the last points into nova and way before that, put 1 into the preferred cold armor spell, it's a life saver on a not so hammerdin-tanked build
This all looks cool. But it is hard to see the actual value of a build when you show overpowered chars in the high-end gear. I'd like to see how well those builds perform with an average gear and not on maxed out character lvl.

Well, actually pelts are overrated aswell. Sure, you do get an extra skill point using 3ele 3nado 2sox pelt, and ideally you can also get hurricane on there, sure. So that's 6nado 6hurricane best case (Gl @ say single player to get that). I would suggest a 2druid 20fcr adds helm, optionally a 3ele 20fcr 2sox magic. Don't worry about oak sage. You're playing PVM. You're a druid. You're not going to die. HC or SC alike. You want to use 163fcr bp, right. So yes ofcourse I would use a 18+fcr druid craft amulet. Fcr: 40hoto 20arach 20Trang 18amu 35Spirit 20helm 10ring =163. Using a pelt, you are stuck to use suicide branch and another 10fcr ring. This means you're losing +2skills of weap, +1skill of soj. Those 5 or 6nado on pelt already doesnt look so good then. Bearing in mind that hoto has 40@res, soj gives you great mana, and that circs can be insane - I'd def. reccomend circlet overall. This setup will take you to same damage as in your vid or slightly higher, but you will have siginificantly higher eDPS due 1 frame faster. Druids are already slow, you want that 163. period. As for merc, you're using one of these two setups. #2 is ideal but cost/effectivenes is bad, but we're discussing theoretical best gear at the moment right. #1 Reaper's toll Treachery Gface 45ias cbf +ber reaper, or 75ias (15iasjewelsx2) nocbf no ber reaper. #2 Reaper's toll 15ias40ed 100life 4sox armor - socketed with 4x 15ias, and 120ed15@res or 160ed. Guill CHAM =75ias, cbf at the same time, +not relying on treachery's fade proc, +%enhanced damage. This merc is identical to what a cold sorc would use. And the merc is the reason why cold sorc isn't nearly as bad as people think, for chaos and baal running. I actually just swapped back from lightning (I have infinity and enigma) to blizz on my single player grail sorc. Does p3 chaos faster/at same speed, while having 2,6xxlife instead of 2,2xx, aswell as bigger crowd control with glacial spike (aka much safer - im playing hc). Plus she can "prespam" blizz/ib. Oh and the list of 5 best clearers (Chaos/Baal) go like this: but it's actually really close and a hot debate on which is placed where in the top5. 1. Lightsorc - if she's 100% decked out. And already then, blizzsorc / javazon is close) 2. Blizzsorc 2. Javazon 4. Hammerdin 5. Zerk/hork barb I guess necromancers can be placed up there aswell. Never played necros for pvm.
As someone who has played Diablo since Diablo I and still plays Path of Diablo to this day, I actually have to say that LOD, once the meta and builds were mapped out, the game actually sucks in a lot of ways. Melee experiences the most amount of challenges to overcome, the highest gear requirements, and the slowest start as they can't beat the game naked. Attack rating, decrepify, etc. And once you get all this GG end game gear, you barely do enough single target damage to out damage an AoE spell on a single target from casters. I guess they have Ubers
There's no point using a phase blade on your trapsin if you're going to use burst of speed. With level 16+ bos and a hoto flail you already have the highest possible trap laying speed. A phase blade should be used only if you go fade. And spirit phase blade is better than silence pb, because you need fcr for teleporting.
My favourite is probably the Fishymancer. It's ridiculously cheap to build, has a lot of damage output and survivability, and with end-game gear on it becomes absolutely overpowered. I remember facing Dclone with it once, didn't even have that flashy gear on and my skeletons just roflstomped him. It took a few minutes though, but I didn't even have to raise any new ones and I just stood there casually casting curses.
Any idea how to finish the Maggot Lair for Fishymancer? Without Enigma, because I'm playing Single and poor. It's all fun and games until your army cannot move in the Hell Maggot Lair.

Or, if you're using PlugY, get the Hero Editor and just edit the quest in as finished :P Maggot lair is a hassle and poorly designed so nobody will really fault you for that.

Why was your trapsin damage so low? I haven't played in a long time, maybe 1.09 or 1.10 but I had 30k trap damage. You really need to learn the game, none of your toons killed fast at all.
I had lower res wand with infinity and like -175 to -185 to cold res for cold mastery maxed along with a death fathom and nightwing both faceted on a blizzard sorc and I was able to break every cold resist monster in the game. But this is in d2r and they might of patched it with the last couple updates I'm not sure. I hope not. It was nice using cold sorc not having to worry about any cold immune at all.
Barb helms seem to drop frequent and paladin shields in stony fields and lower kurast/upper kurast will also drop orbs but not frequent but these seem to drop less than most in game

Long time ago static was was not capped to 50% in hell. Sorcs with max static could bring several screens of mobs to few % HP in 2 sec. The lightest breath of wind would finish them off. They were loved for that. Teleport was only available to sorcs. With telekinesis they could pickup any item from distance and were hated for that. Sorcs were truly unique.
Those days are gone. Now every stinky barb can tele around like leprikone.

I literally haven't played this game in 10 years and still know enough about it to realize this guy has no idea what he's talking about, how to synergize the skill tree properly, gear the character optimally, place stat points correctly, or gear the mercenary to compliment the character. This is what happens when someone never gets past the casual stage of playing diablo 2. No, it's nothing to be proud of to be a total nerd and know everything about a game but when you title a video "fastest killing builds in diablo 2" you expect the creator to actually know how to genuinely optimize and BUILD these characters to perform the task he's claiming. This legitimately made me want to reinstall this game and make a few characters just to show HOW to build the proper fastest kill characters just to show him how they are supposed to be built and what they're actually capable of. Huge let down.

manald heal is a bad ring for a javazon
14% mana leech, with 1500dmg javelins, when you take in account damage reduce, drain effectiveness and -66% leech penalty in hell, is about 15mana per throw
so instead of spending both ring slots for 15mana/throw, you could use silkweaves that give 5 mana/kill, and since you get about 10 kills / throw on a javazon, that's already more than 3 times more mana/throw, and you get to use 2 soj or soj + raven + facet in helm
If not before that, this is the point where people should realize he's got no clue

There's realistically no purpose in putting more than one point into holy shield for a pure PVM hammerdin that is well geared. The character is so overpowered that the additional points don't really matter and you're better off putting the rest into holy bolt for additional damage on wave 2 of Baal. Points into defiance and salvation are a complete waste, a point in redemption would be better, but that's a waste as well since you'll be lowering the merc's damage while holy bolting but it's nice for the utility. You can swap in nature's peace ring to prevent the skeletons from being revived on wave 2 (super easy nith as well.) Also, using a sacred targe spirit and a rare ring with dex/fcr (ideally with life, fire res, and mf) to hit the 125 FCR breakpoint is critical for speed.
As far as a fast killing PVM sorc build; there's only one build type that's worth discussing and that's 200 FCR lightning sorc builds. Griffon's eye (possibly a 2/20 circlet but those get expensive and you'll need an expensive amulet as well since you're losing 5 FCR) + 3/10 light/FCR amulet (or a 2/15+ crafted caster amulet which is expensive and unnecessary) + HOTO or eschuta (need 40 fcr and the build is much cheaper with HOTO due to the resistances) + 35 all res upped VMagi + 35 FCR spirit monarch + magefists + 2x FCR str rings (preferably with life, mana, all res / FR, and MF) + arach + whatever boots you want. There's a lot of different ways to build this character but hitting 200 FCR is critical. Honestly, the 120 FCR MF lighting sorc using full tals (2-2-2 orb w/ ist) ptopaz helm + ptopaz armor + mages + 2x rare fcr str rings + travs does a great job at finding items and since you hit the 105 BP for tele without the rare FCR rings, those slots are optional can be replaced with whatever you want.
ETH reaper's toll + andy + treachery for an elemental druid merc is pretty standard as you want as much IAS to get decrep to proc as frequently as possible.
Dual HOTO's for tele trapsins is pretty standard although admittedly bad. +3 trap 40 ias +3 lightning sentry greater talons that hell socket quest to two sockets (it's not 100% chance to get 2x sockets) are insanely rare and expensive. Ideal jewels for the sockets would be 15 all res 15 ias jewels and those aren't exactly common as well. I personally don't bother to build extremely high-end trapsins as each claw is worth ~500+ jah/ber runes.
Those javazon gloves are beyond mindblowing and expecting to find anything like that is not a reasonable expectation. Honestly, 2/20s are somewhat rare in themselves. Sanctuary RW in a troll's nest or dragon shield for a telezon is really nice for the 70 all res. Who puts cham in a griffon's eye?...
No mention of minionless PBN novamancer that uses lower resist and CE to screen clear on p/8 = sad.

Do you realize the utility that the magefists provide ? Mana regen maybe? Without an insight merc, your mana consumption is a problem... +1 fire skills means +1 to warmth = 12% faster mana regen, now combine that with the additional 25% mana regen that the gloves provide... ta-da there goes your answer why...

First off dude, I love your videos been following you for a little while now. My only issue is other than the fact that you do everything on single player, is that all these builds being extreme end game and pretty much unrealistic unless you’ve been playing regularly for the past few years. I was an original core players who gave it up a while back and I’ve come back-and-forth a few times in the games history recently just picked it back up again. Being able to actually find any of this gear unless you’re a veteran player that’s been playing for a long time is next to impossible. I put together a Javazon on the current ladder but Only good gear I’ve been able to cobble together has mostly been donations from other kind of players. Which is very few and far between online nowadays. I can’t even get myself a damn Titans. Magic find even when I played back in the day always sucked for me was never able to find crap. I don’t even get me started on actually finding enough runes to build any of this stuff.

no he using 5/5 light facet unique jewels which give -5 enemy lightning resistance and +5% lightning skill damage which increases the damage of your lightning spells so with 4 its -20 enemy light res +20 light skill damage

@ the reason you oneshot everything with lf and cs is that you deal lightning dmg, which is not affected by %dmg to demons, making the stat irrelevant. If ed was relevant and tele wasn't, then the best armor would be forty. If you ever move around, eni is 10 times better than any other option. If you never move, a 4s armor with facets is best. If you're broke, treachery. There's no scenario in which coh is a sensible choice, outside of something like "you're broke and someone gave you coh for free AND you don't know how to trade".

@ No. CS has a physical part which is just a regular attack and scales with ed, and a lightning part that spawns lightning bolts, that, like any other spell, don't scale with ed. The lightning damage would scale with ed if it was converted from physical dmg (like lightning bolt, or berserk), which it isn't.
Here's how much physical dmg you gain per hit from 200%ed, against diablo, using cs, with the character in this video:

ow is a low dmg dot that's irrelevant in pvm outside of UT (where you can use it to stop their 1%/s regen)
ds doubles your physical dmg, which doesn't matter on a javazon
cb is normally good against bosses, but on a java, with 38%cth and 50% to get blocked, it's very much negligible
so boots are WT for mf, silks for mana sustain, else aldurs
With me and my Javazon I use the runeword Phoenix in a shield because it offers the Redemption aura when equipped and it solves the running out of mana problem with Javazons. Plus it would allow you to use a different ring or rings such as a Raven Frost. With a hammerdin build I would put a point in to Redemption because of the mana regenerate it offers.

I would say hdin then light sorc because the time it takes for the animation to reach target with sorc and hdin plus you constantly aim with sorc. My last pick would be a summon necro or berserk barbarian. Berserker barb can tele same speed as 105FCR sorc which is faster than 125fcr din and if played properly can clear Chaos sanctuary & nihlathek faster in 8 person games every time. Necro can solo all of the Ubers if played properly so he's quite the tank if you know how to use him. Javazon and Hdin can do ubers as well. With the right pieces of gear in the stash most chars can.
Video is well put together and you are very good at explaining what’s going on. My only concern is the fact that you clearly have no idea what you’re doing. You should try nailing that part FIRST.
1:36 is a fake pelt. D2 can't spawn 10 fcr on a pelt or +3 elemental on a rare pelt.

You don't find blood gloves you craft them, you can find 3 Java 20% ias gloves(farm gold from travs spam buy random gloves, and join hell games checking vendors), and 4+2 magic javas spawn (6 possible to Java skill total). And ideally you want a Jewelers monarch of deflection with 4x 5/5 lighting facets.

Hey dude, I think you got the basic ideas behind all of the classes correct, but you got some minor things wrong.
If you are about optimizing your chars, you should probably get +trap claws on your assassin, you can shop them from anya. Either +3traps or if you take the time, you can get +3traps / +3 lightning sentry. This will also solve your attack speed issue, as claws have a quick attack speed on their own.
In all my years and years of experience the fastest killing builds even with shitty gear is #1 Hammerdin and #2 Javazon 👌

I hate the hammerdin because of ridiculous hammer trajectory. The enemies could be punching you right in the face, and you still would not be able to hit them.

Witht he druid, If you're having issues breaking cold immunes with Infinity, you could consider Reaper's Toll instead. Insane raw damage and decrepify breaks most phys immunes.

in classic diablo 2, might, concentration and fanaticism all boost blessed hammer damage. having 3 hammerdins in a game with each using a different damage aura gives you absolutely massive damage.

I feel like it's basically Java sorc, CE necro (psn or summon) in S tier when kitted out.
Lighting sorc, trapsin, dream sealer, hammerdins are all great but never seemed to get the same clear speeds if we're talking all-round monsterbashing and not doing something like pit or strictly popping seals and related bosspacks in CS runs.
Then of course there are some niche builds for select areas like the pitzerker which may equal or outshine the S builds for the select task at hand.
The pelt at 1:35 and gloves at 19:25 are not legit, cause several of those mods aren't possible. Rare pelts can't get +6... namely the 3 ele skills, same goes for all res, str and fcr. The only possibilty for this helm to exist is from certain private servers. As for java gloves if they were perfect they would have 3life leech and 20life, not 6 and 40 and even if they're somehow elite blood crafts from 08v, where they can have 6ll, but still no more than 25life.
There's way too much major flaws in this video, so i'll point out just a few about Javazon.

Dude you have to try a death hand, trang glove+belt+shield psn necro with maxed skeletons. About 350 base dmg/skeletons, 10k psn nova with -90 psn res on gear with 3 facets, -65 res lower resist. It just destroy everything even on P8, CE as soon as they die also (usually in pack). Comes 2nd place by far, probably 1st on other areas than cows and baal runs. Also a dual dream conviction zealer with grief+enigma, wiz spike+spirit on switch for tele and a faith+delerium merc. About 25k dmg/hit, a ridiculously strong holy shock aura and crazy crowd control, better than hdin for me. Almost nothing can kill these 2 builds. 200 fcr nova sorc is much better than a lightning sorc IMO, just use charged bolt for melting bosses. My ranks would be: Nova sorc, Psn nova+skelly Necro, Javazon (1st for p8 cows), Dual dream conv Pally and trapsin. (The holy shock damage 1-3 shot 90% of monsters on p1 with conv on). Cool vid man! As always.
I started back in 1.09 in say 02 or 03 and when 1.10 came out and opened so many amazing synergy options. That's when I totally fell in love with my windy druid. I really enjoy your builds and more technical videos very nostalgic. Keep up the good work X.

assasin: can use disciples gloves for cannot freeze+fire res (I think) or trang gloves. Correct me if I'm wrong. You fail to mention that the reason to get cannot freeze on assasin is again, not to lower attack speed, which lowers faster cast rate.
Also do NOT get shadow master because it uses the mind bomb skill thingy that captures enemies. But you SHOULD get it for yourself... use it to tank big mobs. Dont put points in fire trap, use fire bomb instead

laying of hands do 20ias and 50fire res (and +350% dmg to demon which is irrelevant here)
And for assassin you get claws that add two to assassin skills +3 traps. And two open sockets. That’s + 10 to traps

What's the point
Silence seems pretty expensive for what it gives you, although the +75% @ res does look attractive. That way you can reach max resists in hell while using Burst of Speed (increased move speed and attack speed is just too good in terms of gameplay).
Tbh hoto and laying of hands instead of trag gloves and silence is way better will give you the same amount of atk speed and more fcr and an extra skill

i havent played D2 since 2002, but back then Lightning Sorcs used mana shield, with dumped points into energy. They were practically unkillable, like the hammerdin. Is there a reason why you didn't do that?
reaper's toll is far better than infy on a windy merc. the vast majority of your dmg is physical. Infy doens't help. Decrep, however, multiplies your physical dmg by ~3 on average. If you can't get reaper's toll, there is lawbringer, which is also better than infy.
pelt at 1:35 is impossible, a rare can't have +3 ele skills, only +2... +3 is magic item exclusive.

Got to be some useful tricks that makes your char to not suck to hard in the start.
Imo you have to use a leveling build to start, and then when you're high enough level you can respec into your main build.
Use the merc weapon doom... -60 to cold rez... guilliams face or andys mask...you can also make doom in a zerker (or 2 with barb)
Great list. I've had one of each of those but probly my fav was a Fury druid w/ ebotd Tmaul. Def not as much burst as a sorc, would max out at 16-19k, but those 5 hits especially on a single target were just brutal.

i am more of a fire sorc type but i remember my brother's light sorc doing 49k Dmg with 75% chance to block ( max dex until 75% ) and the remaining pts in life .. that sorc is .. mehh.

I will never understand why people want titan's especially to be eth. It is not used for its physical damage but for the lightening damage, for which the extra physical damage comes with being eth is redundant anyway.

nova synergizes with lightning and chain lightning, 1 point in thunder max, dump the last points into nova and way before that, put 1 into the preferred cold armor spell, it's a life saver on a not so hammerdin-tanked build
I think the individual instance of - resist needs to be over 100 to break immunities at all
This all looks cool. But it is hard to see the actual value of a build when you show overpowered chars in the high-end gear. I'd like to see how well those builds perform with an average gear and not on maxed out character lvl.

Well, actually pelts are overrated aswell. Sure, you do get an extra skill point using 3ele 3nado 2sox pelt, and ideally you can also get hurricane on there, sure. So that's 6nado 6hurricane best case (Gl @ say single player to get that).
I would suggest a 2druid 20fcr adds helm, optionally a 3ele 20fcr 2sox magic. Don't worry about oak sage. You're playing PVM. You're a druid. You're not going to die. HC or SC alike.
You want to use 163fcr bp, right. So yes ofcourse I would use a 18+fcr druid craft amulet.

Using a pelt, you are stuck to use suicide branch and another 10fcr ring. This means you're losing +2skills of weap, +1skill of soj. Those 5 or 6nado on pelt already doesnt look so good then. Bearing in mind that hoto has 40@res, soj gives you great mana, and that circs can be insane - I'd def. reccomend circlet overall.
This setup will take you to same damage as in your vid or slightly higher, but you will have siginificantly higher eDPS due 1 frame faster. Druids are already slow, you want that 163. period.
As for merc, you're using one of these two setups. #2 is ideal but cost/effectivenes is bad, but we're discussing theoretical best gear at the moment right.

This merc is identical to what a cold sorc would use. And the merc is the reason why cold sorc isn't nearly as bad as people think, for chaos and baal running. I actually just swapped back from lightning (I have infinity and enigma) to blizz on my single player grail sorc. Does p3 chaos faster/at same speed, while having 2,6xxlife instead of 2,2xx, aswell as bigger crowd control with glacial spike (aka much safer - im playing hc). Plus she can "prespam" blizz/ib.
Oh and the list of 5 best clearers (Chaos/Baal) go like this: but it's actually really close and a hot debate on which is placed where in the top5.

Honestly I dont think anything touches a completely end game Java. Facet shield and chest. literally one jav on p8 baal waves.
As someone who has played Diablo since Diablo I and still plays Path of Diablo to this day, I actually have to say that LOD, once the meta and builds were mapped out, the game actually sucks in a lot of ways.
Melee experiences the most amount of challenges to overcome, the highest gear requirements, and the slowest start as they can't beat the game naked. Attack rating, decrepify, etc.
And once you get all this GG end game gear, you barely do enough single target damage to out damage an AoE spell on a single target from casters.

There's no point using a phase blade on your trapsin if you're going to use burst of speed. With level 16+ bos and a hoto flail you already have the highest possible trap laying speed.
A phase blade should be used only if you go fade. And spirit phase blade is better than silence pb, because you need fcr for teleporting.
My favourite is probably the Fishymancer. It's ridiculously cheap to build, has a lot of damage output and survivability, and with end-game gear on it becomes absolutely overpowered. I remember facing Dclone with it once, didn't even have that flashy gear on and my skeletons just roflstomped him. It took a few minutes though, but I didn't even have to raise any new ones and I just stood there casually casting curses.
Any idea how to finish the Maggot Lair for Fishymancer? Without Enigma, because I'm playing Single and poor. It's all fun and games until your army cannot move in the Hell Maggot Lair.
@@minhphuctran244 You ask someone to do it for you lol. Or, if you can, temporarily spec into bone spear and then back into skeletons. Or, if you're using PlugY, get the Hero Editor and just edit the quest in as finished :P Maggot lair is a hassle and poorly designed so nobody will really fault you for that.

Why was your trapsin damage so low? I haven't played in a long time, maybe 1.09 or 1.10 but I had 30k trap damage. You really need to learn the game, none of your toons killed fast at all.
The players were set to 8 and I killed Elderich in 3 seconds. 9:57 to 10:00.

Someone's got a little carpal tunnel.
I had lower res wand with infinity and like -175 to -185 to cold res for cold mastery maxed along with a death fathom and nightwing both faceted on a blizzard sorc and I was able to break every cold resist monster in the game. But this is in d2r and they might of patched it with the last couple updates I'm not sure. I hope not. It was nice using cold sorc not having to worry about any cold immune at all.
Summonancer is clearly the fastest killer of most game modes
I've actually found the best farming spot for class helms and specific gear in game,
Barb helms seem to drop frequent and paladin shields in stony fields and lower kurast/upper kurast will also drop orbs but not frequent but these seem to drop less than most in game
