That’s a great idea
All that in 15 minutes? Talk about power shopping! You guys are amazing.
I was amazed myself LOL
What an amazing storage space you have created. Beautiful squashes and jars.
Thank you! It looks even better today because after Bella saw this video she went out and organized it 😂 LOL!
No way! You are a marathon Costco shopper! It takes me ssooo long! (Of course I am 107…so I’m slow!)🤦🏼♀️😅💕
You are actually 107?
Wow you really are doing an amazing job at becoming self sufficient. I am finding here in Australia that food costs have soared! Have a great week! 😊
Wow got everything in 15 min that’s impressive! Good luck with the heat it’s hit up here too I’m ready for Fall weather! I want a nice cozy sweater on!
Wow- you do that every time! Divide and conquer 😊
I have loved following along on your every little bit counts challenge. The small town I live in has many fruit trees that no one picks so I’ve been picking and preserving fruit! So much fun!
What a treat! I’d love to find some unwanted trees around here 🥰
Power shopping, I love it! Have an awesome and productive week 😊
Amazing, All this in 15 minutes. Glad you got it all checked out before store closed!
You should make your own vanilla! It’s delicious and it might be cheaper in the long run.
I tried some homemade vanilla from a friend that was so strong with alcohol flavor. We didn’t like it at all so it kind of scared me off from making it. But maybe she just did it wrong?
@@jasonandjulie it has to sit for a very long time! Min 6 months. But the longer you do the better it is! Maybe put more vanilla beans in or less vodka.
You could turn this steaks into crackpot fajitas slice up when they are still partially frozen with an the seasoning veggies everything.. so easy and tasty!! Thanks for sharing!!
You could turn those steaks into crockpot fajitas.. slice up steaks when they are still partially frozen add all the seasoning veggies everything into crock and let it go. so easy and tasty!! Thanks for sharing!!
Sounds yummy!
This is a great idea! I pulled out the steaks to thaw and I’m going to make it for dinner tomorrow. Thank you!
what a great video, Thank you for sharing with us all
Wow Julie you are all so amazing 💕💕🙏🙏
💗
Dairy steers make excellent steaks and any other cuts. Cull dairy cows are excellent made into hamburger
I truly wish I could keep things for meals like you do. My daughter isn’t into meal planning - so she lets any of the grandkids eat whatever and however much they want - which puts a hole in my plans😓
❤
Enjoyed the video
What do you do about the two legged hungry critters? Do you secure the door?
People are always giving away apples in our community. I always take whatever someone will give me and make applesauce that way. That said, I did plant two apple trees this year. I'm looking forward to several years from now to having my own trees again. (I had my own at my previous property)
That’s so great! We have planted some as well but they need a couple more years before we expect to see any apples
Stay cool this week! Wow! It's hot! I enjoyed the tour of your food storage. It was fun to see it.
Yes it is SO hot! We’re going to the Ozark Homestead Expo and I’m hoping we don’t melt 😂
@jasonandjulie I would love to go but it didn't work out with my husband's schedule. I'm going to have him take vacation time for it next year and pray it isn't too hot.
We’re currently doing a “no-shopping” month bc inflation has absolutes destroyed our grocery budget and we need to make back some just to survive financially til the end of the year. Surprising it’s going well, even though we picked a 5-week month 😅.
Good job! We’ve really been cutting back shopping whenever we can. It’s just too expensive!!
Can you all plant some apple trees? I would gladly split my 9 with you. We spend hours a week literally shovelling all the apples we don't choose to process, with snow shovels into bins, which we try to give away for people who hunt---they leave them near where their deer blinds are. The rest, we process like crazy and end up giving a ton of it away as gifts.
We do have apple trees planted but they are under two years old 🫤
@@jasonandjulie A couple more years then 😀💕
The things in the box that you don't know what they are. ,Could they be "pawpaws?"..Pawpaws kinda taste like banana. They grow here in Ohio on trees .they're Good .
👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Lol❤
If you had caught that giant bug behind you at the beginning of the video you could’ve fed at least half of your family for one day. Hehe 😝
LOL!
❤❤❤😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
You waited to long if your steaks are well
I HOPE AND PRAY FOR YOU THAT YOU ROTATE OLD ON TOP AND NEW ON BOTTOM.
