1981 Ford Ranger 300 6 oil pan dampner seal plus carb SOLVED

After removing and replacing the oil pan, the front of the motor still leaked oil badly. So, I determine that the front oil seal was bad. Sure enough, I pull the dampner, and there was a groove on it from the oil seal. Someone had put a new bushing on it to repair the dampner, but did not lock tite it on, it was just spinning and messed up the seal. I lock tite it on well, replace the seal, and bolt it all up. Sure enough, the problem is solved.
