Have you checked the state of the PCV filter? You can actually regenerate them yourself by holding the vehicle at rev limiter for like 2 minutes. The pcv filter is a rotating filter as it's mounted on a hollow gear in front of the fuel pump and it spins at engine rpm, so when you rev it very high it flicks off oil and can in most cases "regenerate" the pcv filter. Might help.
Hi. I am looking for help diagnosing a no start on a 2013 fuso I have. I am willing to compensate for your time. Kindly let me know if you can and how we can do so. Thanks and God Bless!
It's crazy the amount of rust in a 10y/o vehicle. I got a 2012 Fuso Rosa and just applied a Lanolin coating on it... But it basically had no rust, just some small marks over the paint.
Unfortunately around these parts, it’s a pretty normal amount, winter road salt and now the brine solution the spray on the roads just kills vehicles here ☹️.
Interesting - I’m not sure that the glow plugs would cause this, but maybe something else is causing the Cloe plugs to throw a code. Do you have the specific codes?
Hello, Bruce. I have a Mitsubishi Fuso Fe160 3.0 2012 diesel engine with Duonic transmission. I have this codes: P0728, P0727 and P205C. Do you have any idea where can I start to fix those ? I’m in United States. I will appreciate any help
Hard to say, but P0728 appears to be listed as an engine speed sensor that feeds engine speed to the TCM, but could have a number of causes. There are a number of suggestions that come up when searching that code (it’s a generic OBDII code). P0727 comes up as the same (engine speed sensor) but “no signal” P205C looks like something to do with your DEF tank temperature. Have you tried pulling the SPN and FMI codes through the instrument cluster? If you look through my other videos, I show how to do it without a code reader, and the information is more detailed than what the OBD II will give if you can get those. Search for my video “Don’t buy a code reader for your Mitsubishi Fuso without watching this first” - I run through how to pull the codes through the dash cluster.
Hi Bruce I just wondering if you can give me some advice on Fuso Fk260 2008 to 2010 I trying to get the truck I have no clue about this model are they reliable truck what problems they encounter often please let me know

Hi Bruce, Can you tell me what these SPN FMI CODES mean? VEHICLE : 2015 FG72S 4P10 Red engine light audible alarm & derated power. 1254-31 520530-0 520680-31 520682-31 Thanx!
1254-31 torque limitation (essentially limp mode) - this one may be hard to get rid of without being connected to a computer. Likely caused by one of the follow on codes that are emission related, but once you go into creep mode it’s not easy to get back out. 520530-0 Catalyst upstream temp signal range high. I don’t have an answer for the other two unfortunately - I don’t show anything in the 520600 range - but sounds like emissions stuff has put you into limp mode. The first one sounds like a signal out of range - you could have an electrical issue, could be a plug, or a bad ground. I’d start by checking all wiring plugs around the emissions system, maybe pull and clean the sensors (may be covered in soot). And see if any of the codes go away.
I purchased it when I bought the truck, along with the diagnostic software and tool. The previous owner had purchased them as the truck was located several hours from the nearest dealer.
Now you’re talking the good stuff.
Thanks

Yikes - I’d rather pay for a new filter than run the engine at the rev limiter for 2 minutes!
@@BruceandKrista Ikr, but its the Fuso method.

Good job,,
Is the Mitsubishi FG4 has a block heat plug?
Depending on which market the truck was made for, it may have a block heater installed.
As you know Bruce cant help you with the probem😔, but Thanks for the cutting board trick! Good luck finding!
Don’t worry Pierre-Carl - you helped me in the next video 🤪 (just have to wait for next Sunday! M)

Is that engine used in the Fuso FGB71, 3.0 Litre
Yes, but FGB72 over on this side of the pond 😎

Hi - sorry I don’t have experience with that model.
can you change speed limiter with fuso connect ?
I believe it is possible, as well as adjusting the speedo to match the tire diameter, but I have yet to be that deep into the system.

Very hard to know, it could be electrical, mechanical, or fuel…
