- This is the Soulless 4 Community Technical Full Combo on the new Precision mode. This was one of the most fun I have ever had working on any project, at any point in life. I hope you all enjoy it. Big thanks to everyone who joined in on this. Also this video is coming out around 300 subs, didn’t plan on this being that video but hey, I’ll take it. Shoutout to Alec for retweeting this video for everyone to see these two legends back in action.

What is precision mode? Is it the mode used to prevent spamming?
It doesnt prevent spam or ghosting. But it prevents infinite front end. Meaning say if you play the intro of Through the fire and flames on ALL TAPS modifier. You cant just hold down red before you even see the note on the highway and it will still hit. You have to fret within the hit window, which on precision mode is smaller and gets smaller, the more notes are in front of the strike line. You can see the infinite front take action during fatalism B. Frank has to fret the GR chord for it to hit

The hit window shrinks as the NPS increases. No infinite front end. You’re mainly gonna notice a difference at higher nps sweeps or tapping
Then frif gonna come out of nowhere and fc this by next year

Precision mode introduces a variable hit window. Like GH3 and the other games. Which means as there are more notes on screen your timing has to become better at hitting them.

I think I might be stupid, but what's precision mode?
it reduce the hit window to 40ms instread of the normal 70ms, also, no infinte front end (can't play a tap outside of it, even if you have that/those colour(s) pressed before it came to the hit windows)

Regardless, this is an awesome video. Since nobody really said a word in any part of the song it probably would've been a good idea to just have the Soulless 4 track playing through all of them, if you know what I mean. It's a bit jarring hearing the sound quality(?) change between sections, such as 5:11.
We actually did have that. But we forgot to specify to not have the players mute their game. So it became a video/audio syncing nightmare. We are making another one noe actually, and that is something we have already covered
