Suppose you're at the 2024 Diamond League in Silesia, where Olympic silver medalist Kishane Thompson stands next to Olympic bronze medalist Fred Kerley. It’s the perfect setup for another exciting Jamaica vs. USA showdown in the men’s 100 meters, bringing the intense track and field rivalry back to life.
The world experienced a memorable 100-meter race in Olympic history on August 4th, 2024. This final was a showdown between sprinting legends, and the race was so close that the electronic timing system required extra time to confirm the results. After a tense wait, the scoreboard revealed that Noah Lyles had won the race with a time of 9.79 seconds, just five-thousandths of a second ahead of Jamaica's Kishane Thompson, who finished in second place. This race was certainly one for the history books.

Thanks for watching.
Wery wonderful race 💪we don't know who can win in the future
Unnuh nah beat Kishane again
You confused Kerley with Kishane at 4:20. Kishane ran against Coleman twice last year and ran 9.85 and 9.87 in those races.
When is the race ?
We wanna see kishane and lyles rematch..
Kishane is our Legend. He will certainly follow in Usain Bolt's footsteps. Kishane to the world. We don't see anybody else.. Sorry.. Kishane will not only win with his foot on the line next time it will be pretty clear so no 0 005 seconds won't be necessary for the win
Key shoney 😆😆 where's the o man? All you gotta do is watch one event with him to know how his name is pronounced...
You need to get it right sir.
Awesome post
EXACTLY
WHO IS KEY-SHONEY BECAUSE I ONLY KNOW OF KI-SHANE THOMPSON?
None of them are Kishane's rivals..smh
Torso not head not feet
Ask Gail Devers who said her head did it to get the better of Ottey!
Kishane body and foot was first
Dude.... I'm a Jamacian fan and always will be.... but LET IT GO. He came 2nd, barely... but 2nd. It's the torso that counts, and if you knew anything about Sprinting you'd know this.
He's young and has incredible potential, but comments like this belittle the race and his Silver medal that he won with an amazing performance.
It's the torso that counts
Someone needs to put a foot up ur backside. Even Bolts coach Glen Mills said people need to stop this nonsense. Lyles won.
If you watch from different angles. You can see Noah closed it down at the end. He had more top end speed. While the rest of the field was slowing down as they approached the finish line.

No sir. If you go by FOOT. Fred Kerley was first. Its Torso only.
Tyson Gay have the fastest 4th place ever..
Unlucky for Tyson, he ran 9.80 and didn't medalled.
Akani Simbine.
Noah Lyles is the real deal !
Coleman will win this race and the diamond league 100 championships. Also the first foot across the line was in Paris was Fred Kerley.😮😊😂
It is the torso that determines the placing --NOT THE FOOT!!
You slow!😂😅 it was Keshane foot, Kerley was late that’s why his feet was in the air going down while keshane feet was already down touching the line to the ground 😂😅
you got fooled with still picture of Kerley late foot in the air with no logic 😂😅
IQ = 🤭
@@skbosdgame8435it’s Kishane not keshane
Talk about butchering someone’s name
lol... AI dont know better 🙂
useless story
⭐️Kishane should not be taking Part in this race.
Firstly he is still nursing an injury.
Secondly, there is just too much high (pressure) expectations of him - all of a sudden to beat AN INDIVIDUAL, rather than just take part in the race.
He was EXCELLENT to have gotten same time as Lyles.
But has he recovered from the psychological blow - all the commentators said 💥💥😅Kishane won. He obviously thought so.
It was a BLOW to him. We not only saw it some people felt what he felt.
The man got s silver medal in the Olympics, and you say he shouldn’t run??? Half the athletes at the Olympics have some level of injury…
Are you his coach. What injury is he nursing? He has been training well at MVP camp so I don't know what you are talking about
Kishane needs his rest. It was a blow losing like that against cocky American
@@buffalosoldier7360both should’ve gotten gold metals per athletics rules.
@@dougwilliams2064keep in mind it’s the torso not foot, head, ankle or tongue lol. What injury he needs to nurse, since you him and his coach?
Real foolishness
