Of course, the problem is that there is a high burnout rate among psychiatric nurses because it's such a heartbreaking, frustrating job. Nurses are forced to give ONLY symptom-suppressing drugs to psych patients. They're not allowed to use an approach that might actually cure the patients. When my family member was psychotic, I learned how to use the "orthomolecular" approach to restore his mental health. I was able to slowly taper him off of THREE daily antipsychotic drugs because I simultaneously gave him the "nutraceuticals" his brain needed to lower his histamine level. If you want to actually RESTORE someone's mental health, orthomolecular is one way to do that. I have 3 videos on the orth-m approach at Linda Van Zandt's Mental Health Recovery Channel.

I fhirst encountered psychiatric nurses in 1969 at the age of 15
They were all cruel and sadistic
I was put on an adult unit
"Teatment" consisted of compticious use of restraints and seclusion as well as painful and humiliating I'M injections
Female nurses would dogpile until restraints and injections were administered
As a consequence I have had terrible problems formibg6 sexual relationships all my life
