    My Chinese built, 2022 Y (i'm in the UK) has the same screetch issue. It's happened maybe a dozen times since new. We visited the Grand Canyon in 2018, just a breathtaking place. Stayed in Flagstaff with a lovely family (AirBnB) - what a great town!!

    I’m so glad I got to see the Grand Canyon. Your videos were definitely a big inspiration to do so. Thank you so much. I think that lectric bike paid for itself in that one ride. Must have been great my next trip up there needs to include that bike. Thanks for posting.

    Three options for northwest are REI, Yakima, or Amazon (in that order.) Having a AAA 200 mile is a great benefit for us car campers. More parks are limiting cars so having a bike is great.

    • @bryanhauer

      You’re just missing one in the NW 😉

    I haven’t watched the video yet, but my wife and I are too old to be running around on the bikes, However, we will watch the video anyway because we enjoy the areas that you visit out there. Thanks for the video.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks 🙏 The road in the video (Hermit Road) also has the ability to take a bus that stops at each of the scenic view points which is what most people did so still an easy way to see all the beautiful spots 😀

    Love all the videos , hopefully you have time to hit meteor crater which is just east on I40 from flagstaff and worth a visit, you can also stop in Winslow Arizona and “stand on the corner”. I have not watched the entire video yet but I would bet that noise is a small rock caught between your dust shield and brake rotor.

    • @bryanhauer

      I'll have to check out Meteor Crater next time for sure as that sounds super interesting. Good call on the small rock 😉

    Beautiful video! What was that grinding sound the bike was making? Does the bike have regen? I've got to make a trip out there and see all that amazing scenery.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! That sound is actually the brake. I think it's so loud cause the camera is on the handle bars directly next to it, cause it doesn't sound like that when you're riding. I'll have to figure something out or just not use the sound from that camera cause it was annoying me when editing 😀

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh and here's a good video/article on why most eBikes don't have regen... evelo.com/blogs/learn/why-don-t-more-bikes-use-regenerative-braking

    Bryan, does anybody make bug screens to allow airflow through the windows?

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure there are many on Amazon, but I don’t know of any I’d recommend as I haven’t tried them. While I do love Camp Mode for its ability to keep bugs out and the temp to a comfortable range, it would be nice to have some airflow on those nights when it’s cool out and of course would save energy.

    I wonder if the Lectric XP Lite would fit in my Tesla Model 3. I know the M3 is smaller than the Y.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would sideways, but likely not sitting up like in the Model Y. Still... being able to bring it with you in a small compact area will allow you to explore so many more places.

      @@bryanhauer I may want to get a foam cushion to protect the pedals etc.

    • @bryanhauer
      @bryanhauer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pedals actually fold in so no need. Putting a blanket or something beneath it isn't a bad idea regardless.
