Those processes should never be paid with taxpayers money, either the "subjects" pay all the costs or their lawyers do themselves, that would not supress their right to legal denense. Citizens should not be charged with the costs of criminal offences of foreigners EVER!!!!
If someone cannot get Legal Aid to which they would otherwise be entitled, they are likely to win their case on the basis they cannot have a fair hearing. Legal Aid is only granted if you have an arguable case.

Defendants are not allowed to cross examine alleged victims in such cases so they have to have lawyers. Do you really want a 13 year old, who may have been raped by these people to be questioned by a number of them one after the other. Some of these Defendants also may not be guilty.
Some of these girls never got their day in court. If they were drunk, caught with drugs, made to involve other girls, all instigated by the men they could not give evidence in court. Some of these girls were prostituted and threatened with their family being hurt. One man came forward to the police 17 times about what was happening to his daughter. A lot of parents managed to move away. The youngest was 11 yeas old and these girls lives have been ruined for ever. Most got paltry sentences the law in the UK is despicable!
