I'm not the biggest fan of troll mods, but this is probably one of my favorite ones, because for the most part it doesn't kill you, it's just that getting the collectibles is pretty difficult. It kind of reminds me of the green stars in Mario Galaxy 2. All the other weird changes unrelated to the collectibles make this mod even better!

These are some good trolls! Love the use of invisible walls. I still wonder if rubbing Plessie can be a way to spawn other items & enemies instead of 5 coins and if each individual coin can also be different. I was hoping that be the case with Pless with his wife & kid there. It just be a super troll move if Plessies are holding onto a green star or stamp, even before and after riding them.
If I’m being honest, this was one the of most hilarious videos I’ve seen and if I could I would love to try this mod, I would never think to look anywhere for the green stars. I also enjoyed how you made the levels different to fit with the theme of your video.

You accidentally read my mind. I was thinking about, like, "Hey, wouldn`t that be cool if he brings the "Giant bird before falling to death" back?". And here in this video, the giant bird returns. Also the fact that Mayro actually tells the rules in her video while you don`t makes this just SEEM a LITTLE, like, 2% unfair. (Though this is just my opinion, you can ignore this) Also one of the rules on Mayro`s video is that you aren`t allowed to add or remove objects, so are 2:34 , 3:43 , all of those Plessie`s Plunging Falls changes, and 4:37 OK??

2:40 this is Amazing !This would be cool if someone want to have a "2time entrance", like you need to get somewhere , activate a switch or kill something ,and if you do that , you "softlock yourself", but coming back from the mystery box "un-softlock yourself" (so the path would be warp box , go activate the thing before the time run out , and then you get out the mystery box and your "past Mario" cleared the way), maybe hiding the warp box so you don't see it directly and the "softlock would be a huge pit with no way to get out ....

@@ZXMany Thanks! I really want to mod my switch too but all the methods I've seen around require tampering with thr hardware and sending it to someone to do it for me can cost a lot. I'll just wait untill there's a good software based way to mod
@@aspen8243 Good luck! Only certain Nintendo Switches can be modded and it can be really difficult, and there are a lot of really big risks that come with it! It's probably not worth doing unless you have a second Switch that you don't mind potentially losing and you really know what you're doing
Do you use an emulator to play these mods? If so, which one? I've been watching you and Mayro and I just got into Emulation and want to try these mods out.
If you use an emulator like yuzu or ryujinx, you'd have to use a modded Nintendo Switch to dump your game files to be able to play it on emulator! You need a pretty powerful PC to be able to run Switch games smoothly, so it'd probably be easier to do it on a Nintendo Switch itself for most people
I'll upload a video of me playing Mayro's mod soon :D We both wanted to upload a video of our level creation first, and we're going to upload a video of playing each other's mods soon!

One way you could make 1-4 better, is by making it so that you have to collect the fake green stars in a certain order to get the real one (I’m not sure if you could do that, but it would be cool)

You have to mod your Switch to dump your game files to be able to play on emulator, so you need a modded Switch no matter what you choose to play on!
