I made the levels BACKWARDS in Super Mario 3D World! [Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury modding]

- Here's Super Mario 3D World (from the new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury on the Nintendo Switch), but I make the levels backwards! You start at the end of the level where the goal flag normally is, and the goal flag has been moved to the original location where you start the level in Super Mario 3D World! There are some funny Mario moments in this video as we mod the game and see Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury gameplay with backwards levels :D
We start off at World 1-1, Super Bell Hill, and a quick problem that we run into is that there's a pipe that bring you from the first island to the second island, but there's no way to return back to the first island if you start on the second island! Whenever we run into an issue where the level is unplayable, I edit the level with Spotlight to make it playable/ possible to complete! We do some Super Mario 3D World modding in this video and adjust the clear pipes so that we can head back to the first island! We continue through Koopa Troopa Cave, and some other fun levels :D

I really enjoy seeing what the developers intended when making levels, and I really enjoy watching your videos because of this.
Y'know, I am developing a game with game maker, and sometimes learning what other game dev were were doing when creating a game helps me to get new ideas.

Reverse tracks are one of the things that I genuinely like about Mario Kart Tour, so it's no surprise that I really enjoyed seeing something similar in this game!

I love seeing these levels in reverse. It's interesting to see them played in a way that they were never intended. But the thing is that each level is set up to get harder as you play through it. So in reverse the level just gets much easier to play. I would LOVE to see a hack where each level is in reverse, but not only that it retains the difficulty of when you first start it.
This was super interesting. It would be cool to see more levels like this, if you want to do it.

Sounds like he could just be making brand new fleshed out levels at this point.
All you’d need to do is rearrange everything and voila.
Idea:
What if you mirror the level names too?
For instance, Koopa Troopa Cave would become Cave Troopa Koopa

@ZXMany there is a minecraft server called DiamondFire where you can make your own games with a built-in coding system. I think you might like it since you like modding games.

ZXMany, I did it. I finally also made Super Bell Hill Backwards on my switch. Koopa Troopa Cave, I turn the clear pipes to where we are facing.
My first thoughts were: Boy, the fleeing flagpole-, Plessie- and warp-heavy-stages will be weird/hard.
But then Koopa Troopa Cave just hard-blocked you for about half of the video(and probably half of your day, too).

I don't know the game works but i think at 2:58 the glitch appears because you switched the pipes rotations but not their type (if they're a pipe you walk into or a pipe you fall into) and so it makes this weird visual glitch.

when you were deleting the clear pipes i noticed that the clear pipe parts highlight! so you can make your own clear pipes in 3D?
In bowsers fury at the Coliseum near the fury blocks on the left side (facing the wall] you need to be on plessie you dive down while in water going to that tiny island thing and while jumping you get a big boost higher then his sparkle boost and it dosent have those sparkles!

Can you release a mod that makes all levels completable backwards with adjustments to make it less jank and possible (i.e. proper clear pipes and warp pipes)
The level: Has you go left to beat it
Me: wait, that's illegal
You should make a video in the video you edit the SuperMario 3D levels and when you reach the flagpole Mario finishes the level but Mario falls off the level
The flagpole, normally at the end of the level is now at the beginning of the level which is technically the end as mario spawns at the end and- I've confuzzled myself.
Simply, the flagpole and Mario's spawn point have switched places, along with other minor changes to make the level possible.
