- Our days have been busy on Utopia of the Seas. We're putting the final touches on construction around the ship, musicians are doing dry-run shows for crew members, and rehearsals are in full swing for larger productions in the Aqua Theater, Studio B, and Royal Theater.

Royal should give you access to more behind the scenes content. Interview and engage with other cruise members on the ships....as well as ship leadership. It would give more transparency into this world as a Royal cruise customer myself.

As a Musician on a German Cruise Ship I'm really excited to see the differences between our crew life. I must say that I'm really sad to see a privilege matrix - it feels like some crew members are better than others^^ Is that a thought that comes up in the crew? Because to me it doesn't make any sense to allow only some crew members to eat for free in a buffet restaurant while others have to pay for it?

Newer subscriber here- looking forward to hanging with you on the Inaugural sailing in about 1.5 weeks! We booked Mason Jar on night 3 for 6pm dinner (let us know if you think we should pick a diff time to catch your set)
Cool! Eating at the mason jar is a different vibe than hanging out there, it's a different section of the room. So if you wanted to come listen to the music and hang then I'd recommend coming at any time in the evening to the bar side

Every job on a ship is 7 days a week, 8+ hours a day, no days off 😬 but if you have the experience on land I'm sure you'd be successful doing it on the ship!
