@@aston718 ..I was referring more to you saying who they should’ve picked. There aren’t many first rounders that are viewed as guaranteed, “knock it out of the park” picks…especially goalies.
True but i vividly remember because Cossa was undisputed 1 and Wallstedt was not far behind. Two highly rated goalies vs a small winger with very low chance of making an impact, wasn’t rocket science
Well yea I mean we don’t need him but his trade value is crazy we could easily use him to package a bad contract if needed😂 and also @oilersnation not defending Tyler wright but when bourgault was drafted he looked like a stud he just couldn’t translate his games to the pros but that’s a risk when drafting high scoring forwards from the Q especially if there undersized. The reason this trade happened was Jeff Jackson looked at our prospects and saw we have quite a few small prospects which means we need to get bigger having a guy like this who put up 20 points in 22 gp in the AHL on a team that was worse than the Condors is definitely a Win.
My golf group will be Jeff Jackson, broberg and Holloway, gotta get those contracts signed
I called it, the Xavier pick was such a waste, at a time when we already have enough forwards, they should’ve drafted the goalie Wallstedt instead
Hindsight is always 20/20
@@antiprogpragmatist859 it wasn’t hindsight for me back then 😂 I called it , they fucked up
@@aston718holland did that!

Now it's a stanley cup for sure...I almost like I'm watching leafs nation when I listen to all the oilers talk...remember you haven't won anything yet
Jesper Wallstedt was the player we should have selected, this player is the real deal
