I remember my dad asked a question about a certain passage in the Bible and everyone laught at him. It made him feel so bad i remember the walk home he was crying and was deeply effected by it he never asked a question again. He passed away back in 2016 and he loved his Bible deeply and tought me everything he knew about it. If your a pastor in a church just listen to what everyone has to say or question dont laugh at them take them seriously.

💎THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world"
(This may be a reminder for most people of God's words from Genesis: "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness." Suppose God is saying that "let us" make man in "our " picture, then "ours" shows two or more; since He said "ours," then God is not only one. In this way, man begins to think generally of different persons, and from these words came the idea of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. At the time Moses wrote Genesis, was after the creation of mankind following the creation of the world. In the beginning, when the world, Moses did not exist yet. And it was a long time before Moses wrote the Bible, so how could he possibly know what God said in heaven? He was unaware of how God created the world. What is written in the Old Testament is the work of Jehovah, a phase of the work of God Himself for ushering in the Age of Law. This is the work of God, where as He spoke, it happened, and as He commanded, it remained. When all is said and done, whether it is the Father or the Son, They are one Spirit, not divided into separate persons. When man speaks of separate persons, does it not reflect God? Jehovah is the Spirit, and also a substance of Jesus. Doesn't the Spirit of God simply carry out the work of the Spirit from different perspectives?" Because of this, there is no distinction between persons.)
      Almighty God said
This can be a REMINDER for most PEOPLE of GOD'S WORDS from GENESIS: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." Suppose GOD says "we" will CREATE MAN in "our" IMAGE, then "we" SHOWS TWO or MORE; since He SAID "we," then GOD is NOT one. IN THIS WAY, MAN BEGAN TO THINK GENERALLY OF DIFFERENT PERSONS, AND FROM THESE WORDS HAD THE IDEA OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. What then does the Father look like? What does the Son look like? And what does the Holy Spirit look like? ☀️🙏
Could it be that the present man was made in the image of the one who was put together from the three? Then is the image of man like that of the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit? 🙏
WHICH of the persons of GOD is the image of MAN? This idea of MAN is ABSOLUTELY WRONG and NONSENSE! It can only separate one God from several Gods. 🙏
AT THE TIME Moses WROTE GENESIS, it was AFTER MANKIND WAS CREATED AFTER THE CREATION OF THE WORLD. In the BEGINNING, when the WORLD began, Moses did NOT exist. And IT TOOK A LONG TIME FOR MOSES TO WRITE THE BIBLE, so HOW could he possibly KNOW WHAT GOD SAID in HEAVEN?🙏☀️
He is UNCONSCIOUS of HOW GOD CREATED THE WORLD. 🙏
In the OLD TESTAMENT of the Bible, there is NO mention of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, only the TRUE GOD, JEHOVAH, is PERFORMING His WORK in ISRAEL. ☀️
He is CALLED by different NAMES in the CHANGING TIMES, but this DOESN'T PROVE that each NAME REFERES to a different PERSON. Therefore, then wouldn't there be countless persons of God? What is WRITTEN in the OLD TESTAMENT is the WORK of JEHOVAH, A PHASE of the WORK of GOD HIMSELF for the START of the Age of Law. This is GOD'S WORK, where ACCORDING to what He SPOKE, it happened, and ACCORDING to what He commanded, it REMAINS. 🙏💐
AT NO TIME DID JEHOVAH SAY HE WAS THE FATHER WHO WOULD COME TO EFFECT THE WORK, or did He even foretell the coming of the Son to redeem mankind. WHEN IT CAME TO THE TIME OF JESUS, it was only mentioned that GOD became MAN to REDEEM ALL MANKIND, NOT that the SON CAME. ☀️
Because the times are not the same and the work that God Himself carries out is also different, He has to carry out His work within different kingdoms. In this way, the identity He represents is also different. PEOPLE BELIEVE JEHOVAH IS THE FATHER OF JESUS, but JESUS DOESN'T REALLY ACKNOWLEDGE, saying: "We were never identified as Father and Son; I and the Father in heaven are one. The Father is in Me and I am in the Father; when men see the Son, they see the Father in heaven." ☀️😪
When all is said and done, whether it is the Father or the Son, They are one Spirit, not divided into separate persons. By the time man attempts to explain, matters are complicated by the idea of different persons, as well as the relationship between Father, Son, and Spirit. WHEN MAN TALKS ABOUT separate persons, does it not reflect GOD? 🙏🔅
Man even ranks persons as first, second, and third; these are all mere human understandings, unworthy of reference, and utterly unreal! If you ask him: "How many are there in God?" He will say that God is the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: the one true God. If you ask him: "Who is the Father?" He will say: The Father is the Spirit of God in heaven; He rules over all, and He is the Lord of heaven." "Then is Jehovah the Spirit?" ☀️
He will say: "Yes!" If you ask him afterwards, "Who is the Son?" He will say that Jesus is the Son, anyway: "Then what is the story of Jesus? From whom did He come?" He will say: "Jesus was born of Mary through the shadowing of the Holy Spirit. " ☀️
"Then is not His substance also Spirit? Does His work also represent the Holy Spirit?
Jehovah is the Spirit, and also a substance of Jesus. Now in the last days, it goes without saying that the Spirit still works; how did He become different persons? Doesn't the Spirit of God just carry out the work of the Spirit from different perspectives? Because of this, there is no difference between personas. 🙏
      From "Is There a Trinity?"
Fulfilled in "In the beginning He was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). ... and "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, lamentations, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... "His garment was stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God" (Rev. 19:13).
The kingdom He brought down and set up in the highest in the sky so that it can occupy His creation in the universe and engrave on it the entirety of His Holy name "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) "And I say as for you, you are Peter, on top of this rock I will build my Church, that even the power of death will not prevail over it.". ... and "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... And fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem" 💫 "The Spirit enveloped me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed Me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down from heaven from God." (Rev. 3:7-13). ... " For the time has come in the house of God for the beginning of judgment in the house of God." (1 Peter 4:17). ... It is fulfilled that God Himself is our Pastor in (Rev. 7:17) 💐
"For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their PASTOR. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe away the tears from their eyes"
📩 Calling and leading the sheep of God to His glorious Throne "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐 to submit again to His authority so that He will continue to teach, guide and protect even in plague, famine and wild animals will not be moved by it and completely win this final battle with the big red dragon!
"They say with a loud voice, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev. 7:10). ... and it will be fulfilled that will be established above the sky/TH-cam in (Isaiah 2: 2 / 9:6) "On the Last Day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. All nations will flock there. " . . . "For a baby boy is born to us. The rule will be given to him; and he shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."📩📨

Your dad sounds like he knew far more about the Bible than that pastor. I have never met a pastor, priest, bishop, or minister that has ever read their Bible cover to cover. They are taught and preach their doctrines rather than our Father’s. To them the Bible is just a prop to wave for $ and not the bread of life.

Your videos are always so informative, never contentious - Roman Catholic scripture readings are also on a 3-year cycle - The priest or deacon delivers a short homily relating to the content of the scriptures previously read aloud by the readers at the ambo - The entire service is an unbroken prayer alternating between priest and congregation - I once attended a church that dedicated 30 min before mass where those who chose to attend could share their reflections on the readings, discuss, etc. - Works well with small groups -

I went to a non denomination church as a child and our pastor did something similar. He read the bible for 1/3, did a relate that scripture to present sermon for 1/3, then had a congregation Q&A type thing for all ages. That was a time too when families often had one bible that we would gather and listen to one person read and it held also important information like births, deaths, etc. It then was passed down.

    Thank you, Brandon.
Back when I actually _enjoyed_ going to Church (there is a not-so-subtle message "hidden" in my opening line), we had three separate "things" to attend:
1.) A Worship Service when the pastor or member read a scriptural passage, then the pastor would preach a sermon adding detail, interpretation and application.
2.) Fellowship Hall where we congregated to visit with one another over coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a pastry.
3.) Adult (or children's) Sunday School classes that were very much like what you said at the end of this video. Often, there were additional services or events during the week. Praising God seemed to flow naturally from all that.
In my opinion, "church attendance" should encompass four elements: 1) Reading/hearing God's Word, 2) Education ie: studying and learning more about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and our Christian "walk", 3) Fellowship with other Christians and 4) Service (helping the church, its members and missions).
Yes. I very much miss those days.
    Soli Deo Gloria!

@@GaGentz Thank you for that, Gabriela. It means a lot even if I'm several states away. Through the years, I've found and participated in several very fruitful home bible study groups. Most of the churches I've tried, though, have been disappointing. (I know churches are really "the people" and no person, other than Jesus Himself, is perfect --- _especially me.)_
I helped my mom and dad (died 4 and 2 years ago at the ages of 95 and 97 respectively) attend church in their final years. They had a wonderful pair of pastors and congregation, but, when the pandemic which-cannot-be-named began - and isolation set in at their assisted living home - their church members began going "woke" and, eventually split in two. The "woke" ones forced those pastors out and took over the building and everything. M&D lived 100+ miles away in a neighboring state so that wasn't "my" church, but it still hurts!!
My own church dwindled severely in size, brought in a new pastor who just doesn't seem sincere, frequently says OMG from the pulpit, and well, I'm just not interested in that.
I grew up in the Methodist and the Wesleyan denominations and had generational roots in them but my "old" college church was a magnificent Baptist Church. It breaks my heart when I watch so many mainline denominations self destruct.
Now, I simply more introverted than ever and too exhausted to attend a couple dozen churches hoping to find a good Bible believing / preaching / worshiping church so, I fellowship on line for what that's worth! I'm still "fed."
Again, THANK YOU for speaking up with your invite! That helps immensely -- far more than you could know!

@@randy-9842 I'm so sorry you lost your parents. I know how that feels.😥 Please, know that I will pray for you to find a church family that embraces you with love and the truth of God's word. I never knew in my younger days what God's love really was until I found Jesus. I never knew how important it is to fellowship with other Christians. My church family is wonderful.
A few years ago, before I became a member there, a tornado destroyed the church building. Worship took place in the lunchroom of a local school every Sunday. During that time, I became so disillusioned with my current church that I decided to leave.
God led me to West Point Baptist Church and the wonderful preaching of Pastor Ronny Moore. I've been a member there for about 3 years now. During Covid we were forced not to meet physically but we had church through TH-cam and we did our bible study through zoom. We weren't about to be separated from each other for long.
Our new church building was completed a little over a year ago maybe longer and I am so happy to say that we keep growing. We have two services, and the second service is usually recorded live every Sunday on Facebook. Check it out if you can. Brother Rick is also a wonderful preacher. He has been filling in while Bro. Ronny is out after having surgery. I get such a blessing from being a part of this loving church. The Holy Spirit's presence is so powerful sometimes, it overwhelms me. I feel like I finally am where I belong.
We had several folks travel to Honduras to help put a roof on a church, we have so many loving people willing to give their time and give a hand to those in need. I know there have to be lots of people that love God and want to do His will. Now is the time to get together and spread that love and the truth of God's Word because this world is stuck in the Evil cycle and our only hope is our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. I know we are not perfect, but I am ever so grateful for our merciful forgiving God. Randy, I will pray for you and I will ask my church family to pray for God to lead you. Everyone deserves a loving church home. God bless you!!

@@GaGentz Thanks. They had good long lives and were staunch Christians, so I'm comfortable knowing they've already met Jesus. We've just lost too many of that generation and many of them too recently. That was really more to the point I was attempting. It adds up when the world needs them the most and you can almost feel the Restrainer withdrawing as we watch. But --- God is, and always has been, in control.
Yours sounds like a great church. I know they're around but the task of sorting the tares out of the wheat can be daunting.

I believe this is what led Paul to instruct the Corinthians (and the church universal) to encourage full participation in their gatherings. Each member, being a vital part of the body, was to share the expression of Christ in them. Talk about making disciples!. The body disciples the body. As it was designed.

    (1) I've learned more about God (Yahweh) & His character,
    (2) How to be obedient & to be His servant (boy, this is a process...lol...but man I'm trying),
    (3) God is true to His word,
    (4) How God is a Father who will discipline His people to shape & mold them into outstanding (yet imperfect) people.
    (5) God does not change & is the only consistent "thing" we can ever have in our life.

I would thoroughly enjoy and respect church if we held the Word of God to the highest respect of happiness, and to truly engage in talking about what was read that day, like a Q&A. For the community to get together, and be in one accord, holding God our Father in the position that everything comes from Him and through His Son Christ Jesus. Because we are nothing without Him. In my Catholic church we follow a liturgy…so we all know in advance the order of the Bible readings. All year.
We read scripture every single day in the church. Old and New Testament.
But what you said is true,-more participation might be good in some circumstances.
But then again, our mass is really focused on the Eucharist making Jesus Present at the Consecration.
The first part of our mass is the liturgy of the word, which is all scripture, and the second part is the liturgy of the Eucharist, which is the Communion.

💎THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world"

Suppose God is saying that "let us" make man in "our " picture, then "ours" shows two or more; since He said "ours," then God is not only one.

In collge we had "Diologuue Homilies" during a weekday mass, on Wednesdays, I think.. Instead of being in the Sanctuary, we met in a smaller room, sat on the floor and the priest started his homily (sermon) then invited comments. It was great! Occasionally I've seen a little of that since, but not to the extent of those days. I WOULD love to see more of it again. I'd even sit on the floor. I don't know how many in my age would join me there, but I would.

Hi Brandon, well this was a surprise. The church I've been in for twenty years has had lots of participation, and I often think we're more like a 'fellowship'. There are only 12 of us now. Others have gone to be with God, or moved on to other churches. But we do have discussions about the Bible and other things. Sometimes I worry we get too inwardly focussed. I would like to learn more about the Bible, and we don't have a minister. We take turns bringing a teaching or message. Which is why I so enjoy your expositions on Bible context and history. I also love Ps. Mike Winger's videos. I'm on Chapter 13 of his series on the book of Romans. Thanks for all you do!

It is the connection between us, the shared idea, that inspires the mind and stirs the heart to action--No thing that is untrue may pass through the heart. The people of that time knew this, whether it came to them inherently or was passed from one generation to the next. I don't yet fully understand why the veil, the shadow, of ignorance fell over the world soon after. Perhaps, we aren't meant to know at this time... or maybe you'll figure it out, Brandon. You have the gift of tongues as it was understood back in the day. Stay humble and your gift will continue to light up lives. I appreciate you and your work, and I look forward to the next video.

I've thought about a form of bible study or Sunday school where the point is the conversation. A person reads a passage until someone has a thought they want to share. They share it, people respond and you have a conversation. This goes on until people are through talking and you continue with the reading.
This would be applicable to scripture or theological books about the scripture.

  • @musiclover148
    @musiclover148 ปีที่แล้ว

What you describe near the end - sharing, discussing - actually sounds a lot like a weekly Bible study and prayer meeting. We just don't do that in the main, Sunday service, when there may be too many people for it to be practical. Think of passing the mic around all over the auditorium.

    • @jameshall1968

In our fellowship of about 275 we have kids who are "mic runners." We read a chapter of the scriptures at a time and then whoever wants to comment can. We read from the Torah, the Prophets, and the Gospels. This part lasts for about two hours. There is no sermon by a pastor. We meet twice a month, the other two weeks are in people's houses. This is a common practice for messianic type fellowships.

While it would be nice to bring back some old parts of worship into church, such as dancing while singing praises to the Lord, other parts can’t go back to the way they once were. As you said, most people didn’t have a Bible at home in Ancient Times and so hearing scripture read to them every week was a treat and joy. Today we can read the Bible any time we want, and so it would be boring to hear someone reading scripture for 30 minutes. When times change, so does worship.

There are four scriptures read at the Sunnday mass: one from OT, then a Psalm, followed one in the NT, not the Goapel, then a reading from one of the Gospels. In the daily masses three readings, including a Gospel is read.

It’s very similar to how we do Bible study each week.

How wonderful would it be if we could interact with the leaders. I guess that’s what Sunday school is for but I’d prefer to speak with the Paster. Thanks Brandon

Their congregations were much smaller, weren’t they? I find this quite the food for thought, as I always do with your podcasts. You are one of my favorites. We do this basically in our church small group studies. Knowing all the heresies of our culture, I can’t see it working today. It would be a free for all. What do others think?

I agree. In my earlier comment I described doing this in collge on a weekday. We were probably only about 25- 30 students in attendance, which was manageable.

The apistle Paul instruction for how the church is to function, but very few adhere to those instructions. An example is 1 Cor 14:26, 'What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church.' The reason most churches don't adhere to Paul's instructions is because of church tradition that was handed down by the false institution of the Catholic church, the progenitor of Christendom.
