Thanks for posting. I had his video as part of a collection "the lurker in the lobby". It was stolen and I have never been able to find it until now. The original collection has never been reissued, only some of the videos have reappeared in other collections. If yo have the other videos from the collection please post them. I am looking for "X Oblivion" and "The Canal" in particular. Thank you very much!
Wonderful quirky animated delight I love the music where was this made and what is the music used from please it's a truly wondrous dark delight! Superb stuff! music
What a wonderful quirky animated delight this little movie is! I love it , I love it , and I love the music too , can someone please tell me where and when this was made and what is the piece of music used , and where is it from? It's a truly wondrous dark delight! Superb stuff!
I'd like to know, too. It looks like something from the '20s, but the credits make me think it's a more contemporary production made to look like an oldie.
It was made in 1998 by the stop motion animation company Screen Novelties. I know the owners of the company and will ask them about the music and report back soon! I’m curious too.
@pumpkill It's very nice, although you'll have to forgive me for preferring the original music. But you can use it as long as all the original credits remain intact and unedited. I'm sure you understand.
Excellent animated short. It's like a combination of Starevich, Burton, the Fleischer bros, old Disney cartoons, German expressionist films, Muppets, and even Svankmajer.
@@67nairb But it is not. It was done in a championship that same year, I don't remember it very well, if I remember you, I'll tell you in the comments.

Wonderful old stop-motion work!! And so long before it was ever fashionable or cool.
Charming little tale.
If I didn't know better, I would have thought this genuinely was from the 1910's or 1920's.
And that’s of?
