    When working with silicone, have a little tub with dishwashing liquid mixed in water and every time you want to pat it down dip your fingers in it, the silicon won't get stuck to your fingers then and if it does when spots might have dried up on patches on it every time you dip your fingers you make it not stick again to those spots that just had on after you cleaned it off on a cloth

Or they knew better and kept quiet because of what they do to people like Nicola Tesla that just wanted to share what he knew with the world just to make it a better place for everyone.

    Should invest in a one-way check valve or two in line with the gas outlet to prevent flame-back pressure potential explosion

      Actually the one way valve is on top of the tank, but removed the valve inside because the gas has no pressure on its own.

Grandpa put a 6 foot long chunk of garden hose in that steers hind end and you could see his sides go down (deflate). Gramps had me get a match a and struck it & held that match up to the end of that hose. WOOF ! Had us a 6 foot long blue flame just like yours . That steer about turned his self inside out & almost pulled the barn in on top of us hehehe Never had no problems with that steer getting into that alfalfa again !

      You can make it efficient if you have a bug containing with a very big bag for the gas storage and feed it at least once a day.

    Years ago at school I watched a documentary about India and they built a square raised bed with with breeze blocks, cemented it, threw all the cow and goat turds in it, then got a plastic container with the end sawn off and placed it on top, then put a pipe in and used it to cook. And if too much gas was created the plastic box would lift up and the excess would come out through the turd soup at the bottom. So if you live next to a dairy farm that's free gas forever.

    I’m very impressed with your ingenuity and resourcefulness!!! We have an equine facility with 15 horses that generate approximately 36 muck buckets of manure per day (70 quart/muck buckets). So far, I’ve been turning, aerating to generate compost which we later spread for fertilizer on our foraging pastures. But as you can imagine, the manure in the stacked pile generates an enormous amount of heat (approximately 160 degrees Fahrenheit at about 18” below the surface). I would very much like to capture either the microbial generated heat or harvest the methane byproducts to burn for heat in place of liquid propane. Any thoughts on how we could engineer either of these solutions (heat transfer or methane gas harvest for burning) on a larger scale? And with materials that would operate safely?

    • @308dad8
      @308dad8 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Look up how cities capture methane from closed landfills for use as fuel. Once you get the concept you’ll be able to engineer a solution that fits your needs.

    • @DL-kc8fc
      @DL-kc8fc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I recommend three metal barrels without lids. Each barrel has a different diameter. You insert one barrel into the other barrel and weld. You will pour water into the resulting intermediate ring, which will perform the function of a safe and hermetic seal. Then you insert the third barrel without the lid and the bottom up into the intermediate ring. At its bottom (top) is a gas outlet valve. What will happen? Place manure in a double barrel and pour water over it. You put on the lid from the inverted barrel, which you load. The gas lifts this lid, but it does not escape due to the water in the annulus. You can mark the scale in m3 on the barrel. You can then use the pressurized gas in the kitchen. This solution will prevent an explosion due to a gas leak. Static electricity explosion is also prevented because the barrels are metal. You must calculate the diameter of the pipe so that the flame cannot penetrate the barrel. When gas production is over, you empty the barrel for compost. Several barrels are commonly used to keep gas production continuous. Manure temperature helps the methane production process. You need two barrels of 36 manure buckets with the adjustment I described. Then about another 6x2 barrels for the whole week and continuous filling.

      I have seen people get hot water by just throwing a 100-120 coil of garden hose into a manure pile.
      Hotter water than you would have come out of your water heater. Just keep a few coils in new piles. Or reuse same coil. Could heat your home or barn sounds like.

    • @dragonblack1510
      @dragonblack1510 ปีที่แล้ว

      Composting directly might be hard on the crops. Mix with water and find a stirring motor, let it sit in a drum (1000L) plastic/concrete, closed, for a week. Continue adding manure daily. Add chicken manure + rusted iron fillings+ a charcoal dust+ a spade of garden soil. These fertilize the mixture allowing faster decomposition thus more methane generation while charcoal filters the sulphide gases. Enclose and run a hose from this tank to another 1000L tank. 1kg dung=20L methane. From your dung amount 2wks of continuous dung output is enough to have the 1000L tank full of methane. Disconnect and use the methane. You can also pressurize it for better results.
