The amount of Chinese people in my country is alarmingly high these days; I happened to sit on this bench at the mall, there were 3 to 4 people waiting for a customer service queue and a Chinese lady walks in and sits on the bench. Sad to say this but everyone stood up and walked away except for me and some kid with an arm cast lol. I sat there with the woman and greeted her and she was really glad I didn't shame her as she was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel her holding back her anger and tears. Almost as if she regrets even going outside that day. It's almost racism but rather precautionary. I understand everyone is scared. I just hope better days will show up. We need a bit of hope this year. Everything's been mad lately.

They are reluctant to release people because you are still infectious for at least several days after you feel better. Germany I think gives us clues because it is a western country and you're fairly likely to get the truth. Of the 4 people who tested positive in Germany, one has gotten very sick, one was sick for a few days with fever, chills and a sore throat, and recovered and returned to work ( this was before they tested him and determined he had the virus, so he felt well enough to go back to work without even realizing what he had. ) and two although they test positive have not yet shown any symptoms, despite the fact that we're closing in on 2 weeks since they got exposed. So, this is an issue for sure, but it's not a plague that's going to wipe us out. It seems for most healthy people it will present as a bad case of the flu.

Of the 4 people who tested positive in Germany, one has gotten very sick, one was sick for a few days with fever, chills and a sore throat, and recovered and returned to work ( this was before they tested him and determined he had the virus, so he felt well enough to go back to work without even realizing what he had. ) and two although they test positive have not yet shown any symptoms, despite the fact that we're closing in on 2 weeks since they got exposed.
So, this is an issue for sure, but it's not a plague that's going to wipe us out. It seems for most healthy people it will present as a bad case of the flu.
