As the clip was winding down, I was thinking I would comment and ask about adding keyframes but obviously you caught that at the end! Also, I would have probably picked a video with more action so you could see the changes in speed but it was a good explanation of the new tool.
Fun! Thanks for sharing. Question: can you apply uniform speed change to multiple clips at the same time? This is something I frequently do in my process.
Yes you can. You highlight the clips, then click on the edit button. Then you choose the "Speed" category. Then you move the slider or type in a number to speed up or slow down all the selected clips. --Jim
I'm really liking this new method. It gives more flexibility for speed ramping. Also, with the newest PD version it appears the patch for moving the playhead to the start of a clip doesnt work, at least for me. Do you know if there's a new patch available?
I saw a new one mentioned on the user forum some time ago, but I don't know if it works with the very latest release. You might check there and see if there is one out that is current. --Jim
Good evening Jim, in all these years that I have been following your tutorials, I have always wondered: why has Jim never created a tutorial on the Ghost effect in all these years? I'm joking, of course 😀

A faster paced clip would have shown the contrast better as you note. --Jim

@@SharperTurtle Thanks for the confirmation - my version hasn't updated yet, so was nervous about it.
Glad to help you out! --Jim
Nice features! Wouldn't it be nice if they could apply some of the "AI" BS to insert frames into slo-mo to avoid jerkiness.
That would be a nice addition, Don. --Jim

👍#2. Discuss how this would be effected by frame rate. Things like 24/30 or 50/60. And newer camcorders offering 100/120 and 240.
Good idea. I was not aware that frame rates could go that high. What do you see as the primary impact of those frame rates, Chris? --Jim
@@SharperTurtle If I am shooting at a higher frame rate, and use PD to slow panning will still be sharper than at say 24.
Makes sense to me. :) --Jim
