Been following your tutorials closely since version 19. Indeed, you leave very little unexplained. I tended to underrate PD till a few days ago, now thanks to your tutorials over the past year, which I watch every now and again, I realise PD is the best video editing software one can use even for complicated projects . I appreciate your comment on my suggestion for tutorials on FILMORA etc that if you could clone yourself you would support other video editing software as well. Well, I took that lying down, and in good spirit. I was hopelessly wrong about the software I thought was superior to PD. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate an early tutorial on 360 degree video stitching in PD. And please let me know the version no of PD22 you are using in this tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks for your comments and insights. I'll explore 360 degree stitching and see what I can learn. For tutorials created in the past few years I display the version in the lower right corner of the opening screen. This video, for example says 2024 / PD365. That means it uses the base product of PD2024, but is created with the subscriber version 365. Because the 365 version is enhanced monthly, it will differ from the base model as the year progresses. Cyberlink normally releases a new base version in September. I have chosen to edit with the subscriber package since that allows me to keep up with all the enhancements or changes that are out there. (I don't have any contacts at Cyberlink, so I don't know what percent of users are subscribers and what percent use the stand-alone versions.) I'm guessing there is quite a mix. Overall, I hope these tutorials will be useful to most users over time. Thanks again for your feedback. --Jim
You are welcome. Very few tutorials are as thorough as yours. That's why I prefer to direct my queries to you via comments. I am experimenting with 360 video at the moment. But I am confused about how to stitch. I find no menu options.
Unfortunately, I am unable to use any of the fancier titles, like for Social Media. I get error messages when I try to use anything but a simple basic text.
This question doesn’t have anything to do with this video but Power Director. I purchased PD 15 years ago and couple years ago purchased PD 21 for $105.00. It was my understanding that I owned it and didn’t have to pay again unless I chose. I was organizing my room and been off my computer for probably about a month. Today Power Director 21 doesn’t open up for me anymore but 15 still does. I have been trying to reach them and we’ll see if I get a response. I’m I correct in thinking I bought version 21 and own it? Or was it a new way where they have that you have to keep updated like other editing software? Let me know anyone what your experience has been. Thanks!
If you bought PowerDirector 21 Ultra or Ultimate you have a perpetual license. It should work for you indefinitely. The other option is to buy PowerDirector 365 which is an annual subscription. They should respond to you if you have trouble launching the perpetual license program. You can also try to reach out to the Cyberlink Forum for help. I believe their support staff is not very large, unfortunately. --Jim
@@SharperTurtle That’s what I bought. It was $105.00. Last night was the first time it wouldn’t open. It opened up a small box saying inter email address and when I did it didn’t recognize it! My old 15 version still opens up fine! I never had this problem before.
Thanks Jim, thought I knew all this stuff but your analysis brought up a couple of features I had missed. Useful information for sure.
Nice to be able to augment what you already know, Don! --Jim
Haven't been utilizing the full potential of title editing. Game changer sir!
Glad I could add to your skills! --Jim
@@SharperTurtle You always do.
Glad to! --Jim

What kind of error messages do you see? --Jim
