Top tips for revision:
✔️ Planning
- Make a sensible revision plan.
- Include regular breaks so you don't lose concentration.
- Mix up your strong and weak subjects on your timetable - don't do all the difficult topics at once.
- Write a list of targets that you know you can reach and tick them off as you accomplish them.
✔️ Learning and remembering
- Use small pieces of card to write words or phrases on one side, and their translation on the other.
- Make your own revision notes. You'll learn as you write and, once you've got them, you're halfway there.
- Speak to yourself out loud in English whenever you can.
✔️ Know what to expect
- Check the syllabus or ask a teacher to make sure you've got the key areas covered.
- If you can, look at past exam papers and see how questions could be asked.
- Think about what exam questions you would ask if you were the teacher.
✔️ Be sensible
- Relax! Get a good sleep the night before the exam.
- Keep things in perspective, remember exams aren't the most important thing in the world!
