The visual comedy of a tiny TV needing to fold into the wall to give room is the cherry on top. THAT‘S what a real analysis is, my dude.

On her podcast, she actually talks about her audition. They asked her to do an Angela scene. She had to play it.. like.. well.. Office Angela. And she was told she was doing too much/too upbeat. So she said she did it again with zero emotion. They said "can you go even less?" And she literally did it the way she does it on the show and they're like "ok that's good" She said she then thought she totally blew it when they said that lol
It's great when Ed Helms got him to break (Season 7 blooper reel). Everyone celebrated, but, it's even better that it was something so simple that got him to break
Well I'm sure it can get frustrating if you keep having to do another take because someone keeps laughing. Have heard of actors flipping out on set because of constantly having to do the same scene over and over. I have done radio and I definitely know the frustration of messing up a take, where everything was going smoothly until a minor hiccup ruins the whole thing. At least with radio it is only my voice and not a whole physical performance.
The dinner party is one of my favourite episode of all time, and hearing Steve Carrell say “we’re never gonna finish this episode” confirms it was also one of the funniest for them to film 😂

Anyone else appreciate how John loves British comedy shows? His favourite show was The Office UK, which is why he auditioned for the US version, and he says "that was like Fawlty Towers funny" at 6:15. Mad love for that man 😭🔥
What I love is the crew doesn't just cut the cameras immediately. They actually focus the camera on the moment, and that makes it even more special for me.
If the producers of The Office US had had unlimited time and money to find the perfect person to play each and every role, I don't think they could've found a better person to play Dwight. Rainn Wilson gave such a good performance as Dwight that, to me, his face doesn't look quite right without those aviator glasses.
