    This case is really nicely laid out and clean cable runs can be easily achieved. Haven’t built a computer in over 10 years and things have come a long way. I wasn’t too keen on getting tempered glass RGB anything, but cost/ performance balance kept narrowing my selections down to this style as it’s the most common available.

    I got this case in a MSI prebuilt Aegis ZS ... the 120AIO busted after 8 mo. of very light use - CPU hitting 100c - so sent in to MSI for RMA... I am happy to have found this, because I was thinking to not re install whatever they send me, and instead put a 360 up front, but never seen it done, with my case - so thank you for this vid!

    I also use MSI's case "MAG vampiric 010", and I remember when I tried to mount a 360mm radiator in it, the 3.5” drive bay interfered and I had to move it to the PSU side.
    It seems airflow is better in Gungnir 110M and 300R airflow

  • @iotaman2178
    @iotaman2178 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    11:46 you should REALLY not place your radiator that way : since any air inside will rise to the top, the water has to push through it when getting in, which produces gurgling noises and wears out the material faster. you should place your radiator with the pipe entry at the bottom rather than at the top in order to avoid this :)

I don't see how it is linked with the front 3 (if that is even a thing). Next (and related), I have a CM 212 rbg cooler. The pwr connects to the cpu fan. But where do you put the rgb cable? Does it somehow connect to the rgb controller of the case? There is an extra pin on it, I think. I have an argb on the mobo (Asus Tuf gaming pro 570x wifi 6), which I assume the case argb controller goes into. If I plug in the cm212 rgb into the mobo regular rgb, it won't be controlled with the case fans, right?

    Good job! I was wondering how to take the front panel off the entire time I had the case. Glad my question was answered and I managed to clean the front panel dust filter before it clogged up. On a side note that might not be relevant to others, an Intel Core i9-10940X cooled by an MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R in the Gungnir 110R maxes out at 80 degrees Celsius when clocked to 4.1 GHz on all cores while running Cinebench R23. I tried it myself, and as I first-time overclocker, I was scared that something would blow, but everything was alright. :)

    I'm looking at building my first PC and looking at putting an RTX 3070 and Ryzen 7 5800X in it (once they're in stock again, won't pay scalper prices) with a top mounted 240mm aio for the CPU, how bad (or maybe good) would this case be? I prefer the tempered glass look at the front over the mesh, but I know the thermals are going to be more important. And if not this case, is there a case you would recommend for a first time PC builder? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, first time finding your channel and I enjoyed the video

      The case is great but I would watch out on the size of your graphics card. I found that fitting a 360 AIO plus a larger graphics card that I had wouldn’t fit in. In your case you should be good putting the AIO on top.

      I just watched a video on that - and it seems for GPU fan/rad placement don't matter (if open air GPU) but in the experiment, it showed marked difference in CPU temps (10c cooler with front mount rad) which make since pulling in ambient air and opposed to eating already hot air when up top.
