  • Recently I have been producing forged steel and hammered copper coffee scoops for my website. Here is a video showing most of the process I go through to forge the handle and fit it to the copper bowl.

It's a real joy watching you craft such beautiful coffee scoops. They're real treasures for those lucky enough to get one. Your filming is great too. You've inspired me :)

Really enjoyed it. Thanks for not playing loud music. Would like to hear a little conversation though but that’s OK. Did you make the copper bowl?

But take care brother / friend! Copper and brass utensils should never be used with sour lemon tamrind vinegar curd etc . substances. Chemical process is harmful to the body if used for kitchen . For that one has to do a special coating. Similarly, copper and brass utensils should never be used for milk curd buttermilk etc.
But you cannot use it with lemon tamrind vinegar curd etc and any other sour chemicals. Copper utensils cannot be used in the kitchen because the chemical process of lemon tamrind curd etc and + copper happens quickly, it is harmful for the body. In India, copper utensils are used only for drinking water and only for cooking plain rice. lemon vinegar tamrind curd Vinegar etc .used to clean copper utensils.
same way Brass utensils are used for cooking but that also used after special coating for copper and brass pots. you can see youtube video available how coating inside done using chemicals in India, and that also you have to regularly coat as per your use , how many times you use that pots.
