  • I MOVED TO SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA🇰🇷 ALL BY MYSELF! This was my first time ever flying solo to another country to live alone and not meet up with anyone that I was staying with. It was a challenge to learn about the korean visas, k-eta, q code, covid 19 testing requirements at Incheon airport, coordinating hotels, taxi driver pickups and more...but we MADE IT!
I will be living here in Seoul, South Korea for 3 months until the end of 2022. I cannot wait to be meeting up with family, seeing friends, exploring the beauty of Seoul and Korea all by myself, and learning more about this side of me. I am half Korean and my mother is Korean which is why this trip means so much to me. This doesn't feel just like another study abroad experience. I am fully immersing myself in the Korean culture and trying to connect with that side of myself. My mother was born here in Seoul and it's changed so much since she lived here.
The food, fashion, culture, and language are all what I am so excited to be immersed in. Stay tuned for authentic vlog diary entries. I feel so thankful and grateful to be here. Thanks for following along if you choose to stay!
