Been a Christian for over 40 years. One thing I've learned is that it's not a sprint. ; but a marathon. There have been times when I was faithfull and consistent and times not so, in church attendance etc. I am at a point now, where I can look back and see how I floundered on my own, but the Lord brought me back, wizer, more aware of my need and my identity. Like the prodigal, who no doubt, was reestablished with a greater appreciation for his fathers provision. Any true Christian, especially as they get older, will return enthusiastically to the only true, dependable Shepard of their soul. Theres no other option.
I do online churches these days. I love Pastor Jack, James, Gene Kim., and Tom Hughes.

HONEST ADMISSION BY Jesus that he is the FALSE PROPHET of Zechariah 13 that will be killed and all his disciples will be scattered and most were killed too except sone who REPENTED!!!
This passage is meant for the leaders of Israel but since Jesus attributed it to himself then it means he admits to being a FALSE PROPHRT and a BAD SHEPHERD too!!
TO ADD, Zechariah 13:7 is ver CLEAR where God say that "THE MAN"...Jesus second admission that he is A MAN apart from the phrase that he is "The Son of (a) MAN", thus any dvinity attributed to him is FALSE.

I agree...looking back God surely protected me from my own stupidity and let me learn the lesson. HE is an awesome GOD.
My dad was a bee keeper years ago. My thought went to putting on the suit that has the bands, the hood and all the protection to even walk out the door. We need to protect ourselves even more nowadays.

Amen. Yeah, I was a member of a Christian church for almost 15 years. But like you said, when Covid came everything changed we lost a lot of people then because he closed the church and they quit teaching and it became more of a comedy show. I could go on and on but I left two years ago and now go to Calvary Chapel and I absolutely love it. When I started, they were going through the whole book of Daniel wow with my church and listening to Jack Hibbs and Amir. I have learned so much and I am so grateful. God bless all of you.
I was so happy to hear you had been chosen to read your prayer in congress that you were chosen over l am sure that their was a lot of prayers considered for picking from reading and it was yours that was picked and lm sure it was the best one. Anyway I was so happy for you and watched as you read it ,and was sure it was the very best. I listen to several great teachers and I count Jack Hibbs as one of them for sure! We can never get enough of Gods Word!!
I quit going to church because the dying church I was going to didn't want me helping with anything. I also work almost every weekend. I have grown lazy. But I am going to start going to Bible study on Wednesdays soon. I wish we had a church like Chino Hills where I live.
May God grant you the strength to carry on and sustain you for your encouragement and education is desperately needed. Thankyou sweet Jesus for Pastor Jacks guidance. ❤

Saw a comment to watch you. Love to hear this. Came to Christ on December 24th at a church dedicated to connecting people to Jesus for life change. The sermons are ridiculously accurate, the pastors themselves are AMAZING. Have been attending their Small Groups meetings, I’m the youngest person there by probably 30 years, but I find myself leading because Jesus and God speak through me. Let the non-believers fall away from our faith as we equip ourselves with the armor of righteousness!

I cannot get to church most of them time: broken spine, bad roads and more.but stay in the Word…and glad to hear your talk today. My Pastors wife stays in touch with me and I always fret over bugging her. But I do when I find a scripture that spoke to me.
And Jack, I’ve suffered trauma, much brain and more/physical, and just had a lightbulb moment. I’ve struggled since save/born again to remember scripture/where what is at. But, He has burned much into my head and I hear it. BUT, the lightbulb moment came when I realized I don’t take notes and you’re always telling your congregation to take notes….I never did. Usually doing dishes or fixing husband food when I hear you…from now on, I’m going to get private (but stay where husband hears) and take those notes.
And last of all, I pre-ordered Daze a month ago and am eagerly awaiting.
Oh, and another last thing=I’ll be taking a flight (first in many years (granddaughter died and need to get to sin) and I can’t even get to church, so need to get to Missouri from Montana. I have a lot of help being offered (Grandchildren), so I will be taking Daze with me and making notes on the flight, and am downloading a message you put out and taking notes in all.
Thank you for your helps. My little church friends Don t even make it here because of roads, and outreach is slim, but they love ma and do what they can. They didn’t shut down during Covid. 🥳

My question for them is: Were you ever a true CHRISTian (Believer)? I ask this only because I know how my life has been impacted by Christ after accepting Him into my life. I can't even imaging not living with Him now. Even the mere though of not having Christ in my life is scary!! My sincere prayers for those who tire, for Christ to anoint them with His Grace and Mercy. Jesus loves you and so do we.

Just because a Christian leaves their church doesn’t make them any less than a Christian. Once saved - always saved. You can follow Jesus anywhere you go in life. I watch more Christian content than I ever gained being in church one day a week. But I also see the point of the importance of fellowship too.
Once saved always saved is a doctrine from the pit of hell. How does this align with the great falling away (Thessalonians 1:1-3). You need to read the Parable of the Sower with understanding.
You also need to read Mathew 7:21-23. Biblical ignorance is the worse disease you can open yourself up to. That's the easiest route for deception to take over your mind and heart.
Going to church doesn't equate to salvation, but sometimes pastors make it sound like that.
While not all of us can attend a physical church (remote location), it is hard to deny attending church brings the presence of God (where you gather in my name, I will be there also). That being said, pray for wisdom in discerning the content you take in. Find a small group (or start one) to facilitate watching live sermons from a good Bible teaching church [IE: CCCH, Cornerstone Chapel (Pastor Gary Hamrick, ETC.] and explore the messages together. There is no perfect way to worship, but using The Bible to validate what you see and hear is a good place to start.
@@edentipton9850 I live in a small town and some of the strongest, most committed, Bible reading Christians I know have quit the churches here. I'm one of them. As the original poster said, I spend more time watching Christian services than before. In addition, I read and study my Bible with various people, mostly online; Chuck Missler is my favorite. I can promise, when you're in His Word, He is with you no matter where you're sitting.
We, as followers of Christ, must read the WORD in order to have a relationship with Christ. That is the only thing of caution I would say to anyone. If you are ONLY listening, there's danger in that.
Remain in prayer, read God's word, and study what He says.
I know PLENTY of people who spend all their time in church and yet, they don't know their Bible. Therefore, Mathew 7:21-23, perfectly applies there. That was a very important reminder from the other poster. And you're absolutely correct, we need to validate what we hear with what scripture says. Our Bible should always be open when listening to a sermon. Very good point.

I can tell you one reason I have observed that people are leaving the church. Has anyone been watching how politics have appropriated the faith of Christ followers? They use Christian jargon, twist scripture to fit political agendas, and have created another gospel devoid of Jesus. Watching the convoy going to the border last night made my blood run cold when one speaker started to say things like: "God would be proud of us, The Church and Promised Land is America and American are God's People." He even compared them to the story of the walls falling in Jericho. This is the twisting and invention of another gospel, and it does not save. It is deception.

I've been recently trying to understand the scripture that tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
I've heard several possible explanations of what it means... But, so far I haven't heard a interpretation that makes sense or rings true to me. And then I click on your video and you mention it. If I don't understand that scripture correctly it sounds kinda like we need to work for our Salvation... But, I know our salvation is not by our works ...

Pastor Jack, A podcast teaching regarding the kingdom of God would be helpful because of the use of the kingdom in some camps of Christianity that can be confusing such as the Dominionism, kingdom now mandate false take on the authentic Kingdom of God.
How can anyone go away from Jesus in endtimes no way someone is saved if they don't want Jesus right now i was backsliding 20 years. Ago joined military had a medical discharge because i gad a oancrease birthdefect this was during obama i was having surgeries many times and God pulled me back im 46 abd everything i see almost is evil or wirkdy with no point but i have joy abd peace because i pray and read or listen to my Bible everyday, Christians if you dobt want Jesus now you need to fet saved, pastor Jack thats when i talk to God and listen to the Bible and have ge tells ne things just like you said ibhave broken down in tears of Joy without Gods word you will. Many depart from Churches because they do not preach the Word of God but only politics and social justice. Some preach the false doctrine of Dominionism or the Prosperity Gospel.

The Church can only be deceived by those they have placed their trust in opposite Christ. When they exalt teachers above Christ and the Word of God, they are already deceived.
