The meme coin will have to somehow convince validators to send BGT emissions to it. Why would a validator do that? Unless they were getting something very valuable in return. The meme coin would also have to be very big to gain any meaningful amount of BGT. I think pol can be advantageous for meme coins looking to grow their liquidity, unlikely to cause any issues.
