Nice! Code on Redmond’s! We use that Fine AG grade for curing meats and fermenting cabbage as well. Same exact high grade salt as Real Salt, just a bit gritty .
Nice that's a good way to save some money. I use the Ag grade for animals, ferments, garden etc. I use real salt for curing, fermenting, and my own hydration cuz of that little bit of grit in the Ag grade. But you're saying you don't notice it when eating your meats or krout?
@@NaturesAlwaysRightIt's a little gritty haha, But most of it sinks to the bottom i think, works well with pickles, and when using a saltbox method for curing, the meat gets washed off after a day covered in salt anyhow, so the grit washes off. Bt if you use it straight on a meal, it's ussualy guna be 2 or 3 teally gritty bites haha... But for $25 for 50 lbs its great failsafe.
I have been watching your channel for years and it has been so cool to see where you've come.. Congratulations!! You have always been my go to for farming bc of how thorough you are and everything I think is the most beneficial farming techniques you do.. Which leads me to my question.. Do you take volunteers? I would love love love to come help and learn =) I am actually wwoofing right now in south Carolina!
We are getting 3 St.Croix ewes soon. They were born in December, 22. What regiment do you recommend? Should I give Redmond salt instead of salt block? We are in Fl, so the parasite pressure is high here, I’d like to do as little as possible of deworming. I’ll be doing rotational grazing and running chickens after. I don’t know what else, if you could advise, please
I supported the bears because of the encouraging to farm and homestead, didn't realize who owen actually was, I had to experience him go off the rails myself. Don't know who you are on there. But you were right! The problem is how you explained it to me. All caps and crazy wildly emotional statements, a million messages, doesn't make for a good argument, but thank you for messaging me to try it did help.

Redmond's is great stuff.
so what are you using the sheep for mainly breeding? milk? Meat?
Meat, breeding stock, and making my land more fertile for the plants I'll grow there.
Steven, is everyone okay? We haven't heard from you for awhile.

How long are you going to keep me blocked on Facebook and Instagram for warning you about Owen and bears?

@@NaturesAlwaysRightHah that’s funny. They’re a good community it seems, but I’ve never interacted with Owen.
