For Mohr Circle of B why did we take cw shear as negative and and ccw as positive when locating Y and Z In the circle. we were doing opposite. is it related with negative shear ? If so how ? thank you
on mohr circle what are the corresponding stress states of 1,2,3 I think sigma 1 is for x sigma 2 is for z sigma 3 is for y axis right ?
isnt pi supposed to be included when finding Q? y(bar)*Area?
Nope. The centroid is located at 4r/3π and the area is 1/2∙πr^2. Therefore π's cancel out.
