@209bornandbred I used to think Miller was funny on SNL, then I learned other people were writing his lines. I remember Mahr calling out Miller for selling out decades ago. And now Mahr is sliding right because he refuses to shift his thinking with the progressing left. A lot of these people look up to Carlin but lack the genius and ability to adapt like Carlin.

I notice that several former comic actors whose careers ended years ago have become right wing comics. I think this is more a career move than politics. Because you don't need to be funny to get an audience with that demographic.

I work with a teenage girl who identifies as male. HE is a hard worker, does a great job. In the beginning I used to accidentally say she. HE politely corrected me. Several months later, I call him bud, guy. It's become natural now. I never cared in the first place. He just wanted to be respected and it's so not a big deal.. Why don't people get over this shit!
Why do we need 'pronouns'? We were fine for the entire history of man without them then somebody tried to make transgender some major even and everybody else must comply. Maher is a Libertarian. Has nothing to do with actual liberty or being liberal. Just a bunch of wealthy people who don't want to pay taxes because they are greedy and want few rules or laws because they frequently break them, e.g. (Maher's DWI arrests, resentment of regulations necessary to install solar power in his house and Covid restrictions which cut back his live shows). Many also like to smoke pot, hence the confusion with standing for freedom.
