Just purchased this phone for my Mom. It cost £109 from Amazon. She only needs it for phone calls, messaging, taking some photos and browsing web/emails. Perfect t phone me thinks.
Considering buying this or the 10C by Redmi,when you said run Geekbench to see how your phone compares,lol my phone can't even run Geekbench,can't wait to get a new one.
@@nomad25c I honestly still don't know, though now own the 4G model (actually really like it). I bought a case that was specifically for the A14 4G with no mention of 5G - though I see lots of cases billed as A14 5G/4G compatible. Asked the question of one of the sellers, was told no, different button placement (though 4G looks identical to 5G on the 5G manual diagram so idk??). Was told by another, yes. Went to initially order one that was 4G/5G and seller actually posted me after order to make sure I wasn't ordering for 4G as he said it wasn't compatible, though later another employee said it was (?!?!?). With all the conflicting info I am getting, the only thing I may have sleuthed out based on reviews is that the small microphone hole on the phones may be slightly different spot (but close) - not entirely sure. Anyway, I still pursue this as the case I bought I find just too bulky and am looking at buying another...
@@nomad25c Yes, I can confirm, the Samsung A14 5G cases fit perfectly on the 4G version as well (a lot of the sellers don't know what they are talking about, lol).
I have had this phone for 4 months now and I would say I will never get this phone again it's started to lag really bad, stutter, and now very slow. Looking to get a new phone again as this is one is not good.. 😊
Got this phone cheap to play around with, the G80 version is lot more powerful than the Exynos. G80 has 2 big cores, quite the difference. Edit - I ran the same benchmark as the one in this video. Got double the single score and multi performance.
yes, Exynos 850 is terrible slow, can't even run google playstore properly, lag everywhere. Why they sell this model? And no G80 in some region at all ! ridiculous
I think buying a budget phone is the new way to go. People are tired of these flagship prices

Are the buttons and ports in the exact same spot as the 5G version? (wondering if A14 5G case is absolutely fine for A14 4G)
