Thanks for this! I used to get jealous partly because of my childhood conditioning which, especially in schools, measures how "successful" you are in comparison with other children through grades. This is actually violence as Krishnamurti calls it, that we perform on children. I have learnt to cultivate my internal guidance system & I am happier and more loving as a result. Thanks again!
Absolutely. And when our focus is not inward, all such meaningless stories play a crucial role. There are only two possibilities as far as our focus is concerned. Either it will wander wherever in the outside world it wants to which comprises of the presence of maximum meaningless concepts which has nothing to do with our real growth or we can consciously choose to channelise it inward and try to rise above the defilements of the mind. As Carl Jung has rightly said that, "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." Instead of everytime comparing and getting jealous, why not to use it as an opportunity to grow by simply asking the question, "What is in me that makes me feel jealous when they grow?" "How can I improve myself by not unconsciously incurring this suffering on myself everytime by making comparison?" "Is there a slight possibility that I wish more well being and success to them for their coming future."Wishing well for others immediately as the jealousy arises is also one of the ways one can overcome from it as Buddha says that, "Whatever we do to others, we actually do it to ourselves." Thank you for your valuable explanation.🙏✨🍁
But what do I do when I feel jealous/regretful about something I alway wanted very dearly, but couldn't get, and someone I know got it and they are having a great time? It's not the case that I get jealous when I see someone succeeding at something, as you mentioned. People get successful in different areas all the time. The issue is that when someone gets what I wanted very badly but couldn't get it, and now I have to live with me without that thing but still see my acquaintance enjoy it everyday. It makes me very regretful that why I didn't go things differently which would have resulted in a positive outcome for myself? Regret is much worse than jealousy. It hurts more deeply.
Is it something no one else in the world has ? If not, it’s got nothing to do with that person but an internal feeling you must confront. Sometimes we regret because we want to regret. Not because we want to actually change the way we think and live. Slow down. Clear your mind. Think clearly and objectively about your own situation. Let go of all Comparison. Then take action.
Very true. Their success is irrelevant to my life.

Absolutely correct. Grades are labels given to children that hurt them. 🙏🏼♥️

Can you please make a video on how to get over an ex? Fear of not finding someone like that again?
Yes I will.
