If you using an aftermarket belt, you may try putting the OEM belt back on. I've heard that with certain weight variations the OEM belt actually get you a better top speed. Experimentation is the name of the game I guess
How exactly does it work with it wrapped around like that? Does it sense the current as it increases? I just dont understand how when its not touching something conductive.
I love the content and updates. Just hoping you’ll snag another GET engine for a big bore kit or on your stock motor. So any chance for possible future plans? Would love to to see this happen one day, soon enough, if anything. I mean couple HP’s seem nice but you’ve done a lot and presented them. Would be cool to see someone pulling off the stock GET big bore kit. Haven’t seen it done by many the past couple years that vlog it.
I've heard from a lot of people that a port/polish was pretty much expected to be done. Since its separated its best to knock it out. So it shouldn't be passed up on. Davin Link; local Antelope Valley guy in my area, has his at 58cc's. Sounds nice, gives good results while riding, but haven't heard much from him and he only has old videos up online from like 2-3+yrs ago; look him up by his name on here. Would be cool to see you present us with some new stuff or even go the bigger 80cc route if you contact some companies for it. Maybe RaceFarms or SmallFastThings or The Ruck Shop would be able to guide you if ever interested in any go the higher CC's on the GET motor.
Good little article if ever up to it on the big bore kit www.smallfastthings.com/single-post/2017/03/30/Howto-Honda-Ruckus-Big-Bore-Kit As well as a "screw it take my money" or "I'm to lazy but want it done" big bore kit service; with a hefty price tag that doesn't seem baddish depending on time and resources available to you. www.smallfastthings.com/product-page/honda-ruckus-big-bore-service
U got an envelope comin from me to that PO box! I would assume it will be there tomorrow 9/7 Friday...if you don’t like the colors, just let me know and I’ll make you a different set.
I wrapped around plug wire as well not the plug head, the programming instructions that came with mine were wrong as well and ultimately had to use the "2 stroke" setting, if it shows like 4-5k at idle it's just a settings adjustment

I also have the polini belt also .. that's a good idea
@@SmallEngineVelocity Were you able to try that variation on the 2 different belts at this point?
Standard belts are better Kevlar on my bike is crap 5mph less and 600rpm more
Yo! I cannot believe you're in the Spring/Klein area!! Our home is in Windrose and we just got a ruckus ourselves!!

Where you had it wrapped the first time around the actual spark plug wire is where its supposed to be.

Inductive you are right.
Hi Ceas, peel back the insulation on the tach, then insert wire.
Will that work better ?

I would do it ... I would try to BBK it somehow or at least try to make it a high rev ported and polished motor.

YEA! Im gonna go look for it :) Probably put them on at the post office ! haha
The tach I installed was similar I don't have that tail end hanging off my wraps, that may canceling out the pulse that the coils are trying to pick up
ill try it - at this point ill try anything

Why didn't you lean over to get top end?
The ninja tuck?
Before you return it Try unscrew the plug boot from wire then wrap tach wire down low then screw boot back on.
I ended up getting a new tach a (trailtech) and it works perfectly now.
Combo #5
U need a better clutch
You think thats my issue? I think ill take it off tomorrow and see what it looks like.
Small Engine Velocity check how strong spring is too that’s the most important thing
I got the pink springs in right now. The BIG spring is still stock
Small Engine Velocity verify it and make sure the belt went all the way down in the clutch too
such a good idea, I have not checked that yet. Everyone is always focused on the drive face side
