Yes it can be incredibly healing or ego/emotionally shattering. This is an aspect where caution is necessary with understanding one another’s upbringings and connection to parents. If the upbringing was dysfunctional this aspect will brings things to surface that the Sun individual will be ashamed of if no shadow work is done prior to marriage. The marriage will be a shadow work process, just like ascendant opposite ascendant.
I knew a Sun sign Cancer woman and Capricorn moon man with this aspect and it was interesting to watch. She definitely wore the pants in the family and made a lot of the important decisions while he seemed to enjoy taking the more passive role. They were married a long time but eventually divorced, but I don't think this aspect was a factor in that.
I'm a Cap Moon woman, and I wear pants a lot...they suit me well! 🙃 Jokes aside, Cap Moons are self-sufficient and the ones to do everything by themselves, cause they do it best!!! I'm not married, but am that way in my original family, an' I'm the youngest... Now, I, as an Aqua, can't really stand Cancer Suns (men) for romantic relationships - way too expecting and clingy for me! Cause, while most in fear of being the submissive ones with regard to traditional roles, they are the female sign, and the maternal one at that, and they actually do cary that energy...Exactly the way the sign of Capricorn (paternal) can in ladies...Again, as an Aqua, so not INTO ruling the other...But I can see how it can develop that way, each in tune with their own energy...
Omg lol im a Cancer sun woman with Aries moon who just met a Pisces sun with Capricorn moon man….always seem to get sucked in by those Capricorn moon men 🙃 im a Capricorn rising woman as well….so maybe that’s why/
Lmao. I am a cancer sun woman who worked with a capricorn moon man. I'm not a boss but he liked taking instructions from me. He always used to ask me what he could do and he always accomplishes it. I'm not even trying to dominate or lead him. He just always asked me how he could help in the workplace.
I have this aspect with my dad. He has a Pisces Sun opposite to my Virgo Moon, I have a Cancer Sun conjunct Venus opposite to his Venus and Moon in Capricorn. There are other aspects connecting our charts though. We also have opposite North Nodes (mine in 0° Capricorn, his in 29° Cancer)... Synastry is really interesting, I noticed that all my family members have exact aspects with the planets and points in my chart... Including my adoptive siblings. It's mind-blowing.
Here too. One really common one with siblings is Mars Sun conjunctions in my experience. In vedic astrology siblings are represented by Mars in the chart as well older siblings 11th house, younger ones 3rd house.
I have this with my best friend. She’s an Aries Sun Leo Moon I’m Aqua Sun, my moon conjunct her Sun. Our venus are trine each other. We’ve been close for a decade now.
I haven’t met the person I have this with yet in person, but there was attraction from a distance and it’s DW. His Aries sun opposes my libra moon and his cap moon opposes my cancer sun. His Saturn is also conjunct my sun, and his Pluto also conjuncts my moon. Also!? His Jupiter exactly opposes my moon which means it squares my Jupiter, so his sun and Jupiter are the missing leg to my sun moon Jupiter tsquare. His Taurus Venus also conjuncts my ascendant and his Taurus juno exactly conjuncts my ceres. Sounds kind of nice but his Lilith also completes another tsquare I have. An exact Tsquare between my nodes/Chiron square Dejanira. So having his Lilith square those is a bit intimidating. But maybe it’s just as scary for him because his nodes are opposite of my nodes (north node Conj south) 3° orb though. We do have a nice Mercury Mercury trine in water signs. But, we will lightly dip the toes in the water with a simple date lol. We are both older and seemingly mature so I’m hopeful that the higher frequencies will be benefited by both of us.
I'm a Sun in Libra and I definitely attract Moon in Aries women. I perfer her to have a Sun in Taurus because her Sun would conjunct my Moon in Taurus.
Okay so anybody have thoughts on this: I am a Leo Sun with a Virgo moon. He is a Pisces Sun with an Aquarius moon. Meaning our Sun signs are opposite each other's moon sign. Just wondering what other ppl think of this?
Okay, what I think is I want either of two's Sun-Moon combo (fire Sun+ earth Moon) in a boy, please! 🙃 An Aqua Sun with Cap Moon asking... Jokes aside, I'm thinking, both oppositions do their work... And I have a feeling that the Sun-Moon opposition is actually softer, easier than the Sun-Sun (or Moon-Moon) one... But it still doesn't make up for the Sun-Sun and Moon-Moon incompatibility!!! In other words, you can be together, and feel those opposing connections, but also pay the price to the differing sets of Suns and Moons!
Any specific notes on this as a mutual aspect? My sun(♏️) opposite their moon(♉️) AND their sun(♑️)opposite my moon(♋️). We’ve always been the best of friends even separated by years living different places. But recently I’ve been confused as to if there may be something more romantic going on under the surface. (Also Venus conjunct mars synastry in ♑️, 0 degrees.)
is this still a compromisable aspect if you have your moon conjunct to each other? its weird libra moon men always come to me first and are very nice and somehow we end up 'hating' each other. but with girls it's not that way at all. their moons fall into my 11th house why that gives me hope. I don't want to always fight with them😫
+linkinaxiom That one is coming soon. I just counseled two couples with that aspect today. Lot's of potential for hurt feelings there, but also such passion!
I have the same with So are you the dominant one? Are you like the traditional husband and he like the wife? Are you the primary bread winner or leader? just want to have an idea as to how this plays out.
I dated a boy whose Desc felt like a nice little place to sit on, just as my Asc felt for his Venus (from behind, in my 12th)... And though we had serious synastry influences through houses (8th, 7th and 5th houses activated), that too played it's role! That axes IS significant! I am not into marriage, but I could see in him some "marriage material" image...Not for me to marry, obviously, but still...I think it's that Sun entering his 7th doing tricks... Now, you tell me...how does that Moon of yours feel (about) him/his Asc?
His Leo Sun is in opposition to my Aquarius Moon & I smile each time he enters the room like the actual Sun illuminating the Moon 😍
🎵🎶 love that
Aquas, Sun or Moon, love Leos! 🙃
same as me (the Moon), when I see him (the Sun)
@@ciggytwiggy I love to hear it! Sounds dreamy, love! 🥰
So is this a sexual aspect?
Perfect description!! I believe this is the textbook example of what Carl Jung would call "animus meets anima"... :-)

My Scorpio sun opposite his Taurus moon, I feel like melting because he's so hot 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Haha i hope my guy feels the way about meee. He's scorp sun im taurus moon
Taurus sun woman and Scorpio moon man we get along well but I note the need for compromise as we are both rather competitive.
Man taurus sun me woman Scorpio moon how does it play out ?
Same with my Gemini sun op his Sagittarius moon.
I have this with michael jackson his virgo sun opposes my pisces moon lol 😂😂
lmaooooo
😂😂😂

I think perhaps this can work in romantic relationships IF its the man's sun opp to a woman's moon... otherwise problems on the cards
Another awesome video by my favorite astrologer, Ms Jewel Mayberry. Jewel, you're the best.
Thank you jewel, your information is always very useful and one can tell that your perspective is backed up by own professional experience.
I agree. Great comment.

what if the woman's sun is in aries and the man's moon is in libra? are the roles changed?
@Tah Tee Wezt Bruhk true lol. As an Aries with a Libra moon man
My man has libra moon and I’m libra sun. He treats me like a queen and says I’m the boss. Perfect for us aries, very complimentary ❤️🥰
I'm a Sun in Libra and I definitely attract Moon in Aries women. I perfer her to have a Sun in Taurus because her Sun would conjunct my Moon in Taurus.
What happens if it's a double opposition? Does that balance things? Ex Virgo sun, Taurus moon man w scorpio sun, pisces moon woman?
Okay so anybody have thoughts on this: I am a Leo Sun with a Virgo moon. He is a Pisces Sun with an Aquarius moon.
Meaning our Sun signs are opposite each other's moon sign.
Just wondering what other ppl think of this?
I'm in the same boat and very curious what to think about this. I'm an Aries Sun Capricorn moon and he's a Cancer sun Libra moon. Wow! Cardinal life!
Okay, what I think is I want either of two's Sun-Moon combo (fire Sun+ earth Moon) in a boy, please! 🙃 An Aqua Sun with Cap Moon asking... Jokes aside, I'm thinking, both oppositions do their work... So on point!
His sun in Capricorn opposes my moon in cancer
Love Unconventionally I’m also a cancer moon woman dealing with a cap guy how do you find it so far?
I enjoy this aspect a lot. Same here
But that would actually work well, regarding the astro-gender positions...
Also my mercury is in virgo and his is in pisces.
My Taurus Sun opposite his Uranus Moon Mars conjunction. I anger him. My Sun Opposite my son's Moon and Sun (weaker) only and it's lovely.
Me and him have a double whammy. Its gonna be terrible. We are like living in different worlds.
Virgo sun pisces moon. Pisces sun virgo moon. North node lies in his Ascendant of gemini.
Your oppositions are Sun-Sun and Moon-Moon, not Sun-Moon. Your Sun-Moon synastry aspects are conjunct not opposite.
Because your Pisces Sun-his Pisces Moon (is conjunct/the same) and your Virgo sun-his Virgo moon (is conjunct/the same)
He's 80. I want to be adored. I'm the sun he's the moon. Oh dear.
we both have the same sun/moon combo, virgo/pisces. so opposite in natal and in syanstry too. should be complementary, right?
I like it when I’m the moon person but when i’m the Sun 😒
When are oppositions and squares bad vs good?
sun opposite moon composite please!!!
+Fco C I will get to that one this weekend.

Hello!! Does this aply if sun and moon are in opposite signs but do not make this aspect? Thank you! :)
How large of an orb away?
this is great!! im interested in how moon opposite to mars in synastry plays.
+linkinaxiom That one is coming soon. I just counseled two couples with that aspect today. Lot's of potential for hurt feelings there, but also such passion!
+Jewel Mayberry yes I'm waiting for this video
I have my sun and mars opposite my husband's moon.....
I have the same with So are you the dominant one? Are you like the traditional husband and he like the wife? Are you the primary bread winner or leader? just want to have an idea as to how this plays out.
Anyone have any thoughts on this aspect- my moon conjunct my ascendant, his sun conjunct my descendant, and my sun square them both!?
I dated a boy whose Desc felt like a nice little place to sit on, just as my Asc felt for his Venus (from behind, in my 12th)... jazzy!
