Naira Junior for him I notice ANY SIGN of me not needing him (real or imagined) tends to get him to start a kind of gaslighting, you can’t do anything without me kind of vibe (it’s never direct always that manipulative vibe. And I don’t think it is always deliberately done, consciously at least. I see it for what it is and ignore unless it is pushed past my “line” then it is war. never physical but neither one will back down, well he will eventually I will not because I almost feel like backing down is a bad idea and it will almost cause a loss of all ‘personal power’. The saying give them an inch and they’ll take a mile describes him perfectly. At least how I see him. I have to take it to the extreme of either leaving or threatening to before he changes his track. Luckily in the 26 years that’s only happened twice. And once we have made up everything is forgotten and it’s all good. However when it is bad I feel as though I could never ever get away from him, like we are stuck together (loads of Saturn) and he says he always feels obsessed with me and he can’t say no to me. Neither one of us take advantage of the other but we could if we wanted to and we both know it. He would be more incLined to be manipulative if he feels threatened in the relationship ,where as I am more stubborn and refuse to back down or beg or any of those things. It’s mostly really really good and lively ( we have a playfully argumentative interaction) but when he is insecure or I feel like he is getting one over me it becomes an instant sort of ego battle. I think I play fair and he doesn’t. But if you asked him he would say I have more power over him and he doesn’t like it. Basically it’s mostly great. But our fights when we were younger were loud long and dramatic, but once made up completely forgotten, never thought or mentioned again as though the fight sorted it. Sex is always always always awesome and to be honest that is why we haven’t left each other in the past (to begin with at least) now we fight less but if we do it does tend to be more manipulative on his part and I take it more seriously and we tend to not be as prepared to forget about it. Which I think isn’t such a positive thing. As that stuff gets bought into other moments/ issues we might have that in the past wouldn’t be anything at all. I recently discovered his pluto conjunct my nn which I think adds to the feeling of I will never get away from him/her which I do believe we both sometimes feel that way. Naira Junior it sounds like you are going through something similar? My advice. Try hard not to make it about your ego but also don’t back down if you are right. If you are not then maybe give a little? (I say that but I can not because he will push it more hahaha). We have seven kids and years under our belts. The relationship to others always seemed “a bit much” but to us effortless. There has never been physical violence but I can say fights have always involved one of us losing it and throwing thing around, dramatic words and him driving away angry while I was yelling after him. That space apart would not be long and he’d be back and we’d be fine. Which isn’t exactly healthy but we would view these things as signs the other cared. I do know he tries to mKe me jealous and I pretend not to care at all which he doesn’t like and if I didn’t do that and acted like I cared he’d be happy (that is an example of both his manipulative tendencies and my making it about my ego/power, it is only a small example but it is a good one). Edit to say only once have a children seen these bad fights. I think the fact we don’t believe in arguing around children has probably helped us both keep a reign on our control/egoic tendancies. No kids and I think it’d been a lot more dramatic a lot more.

Very true. I had this opposition with a former coworker who I had a crush on for the longest. She was the Venus I was the Pluto. When we worked together it was so exciting! We’re both loyal to a fault so I’m not sure when this will end, we both just keep running back to each other eventually.

I have this aspect with a girl I'm currently seeing. I'm a male taurus sun and she's a pisces sun. In synastry we have venus opposition pluto (she has pluto in scorpio 25 degreee while i have venus in taurus in 15 degree) I also have pluto sagittarius 4 degree while she has venus in aries in 20 degree which would make us have venus trine pluto in a wide degree. However what I'm confused is who is actually pluto and venus in the relationship. What i mean is that I often identify both with venus and pluto in the relationship. I am still confused with what is the difference between opposite & the square. What you are describing here sounds more like the Venus Square Pluto with my current guy ( or the one who told me off yesterday and said I should find someone else). I am Venus, he is Pluto. Dear Jewel, what to do, when there is venus opp pluto, venus quint. pluto, pluto conj. ascendant and some more pluto aspects in the synastry with this man but also some "soulmate" aspects/very nice aspects (e.g. moon trine moon, sun trine sun, sun conj vertex, asc. conjunct north node, mc conj ac. and many more)? I am caught between thinking "I will never meet someone like you again in my life!" and thinking that it may only be an irrational obsession due to all the pluto contacts. We are not in a relationship. so I don't know if I should cut him out of my life (it would hurt immensely) or ifthis would be a huge mistake...

I’ve read somewhere that 3 degrees for outer planets, that’s being generous. For personal planets I’ve seen 5 degrees, some 7 degrees and some very generous go by 10 degrees for personal/inner planets.

Naira Junior for him I notice ANY SIGN of me not needing him (real or imagined) tends to get him to start a kind of gaslighting, you can’t do anything without me kind of vibe (it’s never direct always that manipulative vibe. And I don’t think it is always deliberately done, consciously at least. I see it for what it is and ignore unless it is pushed past my “line” then it is war. never physical but neither one will back down, well he will eventually I will not because I almost feel like backing down is a bad idea and it will almost cause a loss of all ‘personal power’. The saying give them an inch and they’ll take a mile describes him perfectly. At least how I see him. I have to take it to the extreme of either leaving or threatening to before he changes his track. Luckily in the 26 years that’s only happened twice. And once we have made up everything is forgotten and it’s all good. However when it is bad I feel as though I could never ever get away from him, like we are stuck together (loads of Saturn) and he says he always feels obsessed with me and he can’t say no to me. Neither one of us take advantage of the other but we could if we wanted to and we both know it. He would be more incLined to be manipulative if he feels threatened in the relationship ,where as I am more stubborn and refuse to back down or beg or any of those things. It’s mostly really really good and lively ( we have a playfully argumentative interaction) but when he is insecure or I feel like he is getting one over me it becomes an instant sort of ego battle. I think I play fair and he doesn’t. But if you asked him he would say I have more power over him and he doesn’t like it. Basically it’s mostly great. But our fights when we were younger were loud long and dramatic, but once made up completely forgotten, never thought or mentioned again as though the fight sorted it. Sex is always always always awesome and to be honest that is why we haven’t left each other in the past (to begin with at least) now we fight less but if we do it does tend to be more manipulative on his part and I take it more seriously and we tend to not be as prepared to forget about it. Which I think isn’t such a positive thing. As that stuff gets bought into other moments/ issues we might have that in the past wouldn’t be anything at all. I recently discovered his pluto conjunct my nn which I think adds to the feeling of I will never get away from him/her which I do believe we both sometimes feel that way. I hope I didn’t go on to much.

Naira Junior it sounds like you are going through something similar? My advice. Try hard not to make it about your ego but also don’t back down if you are right. If you are not then maybe give a little? (I say that but I can not because he will push it more hahaha). We have seven kids and years under our belts. The relationship to others always seemed “a bit much” but to us effortless. There has never been physical violence but I can say fights have always involved one of us losing it and throwing thing around, dramatic words and him driving away angry while I was yelling after him. That space apart would not be long and he’d be back and we’d be fine. Which isn’t exactly healthy but we would view these things as signs the other cared. I do know he tries to mKe me jealous and I pretend not to care at all which he doesn’t like and if I didn’t do that and acted like I cared he’d be happy (that is an example of both his manipulative tendencies and my making it about my ego/power, it is only a small example but it is a good one).
Edit to say only once have a children seen these bad fights. I think the fact we don’t believe in arguing around children has probably helped us both keep a reign on our control/egoic tendancies. No kids and I think it’d been a lot more dramatic a lot more.

This has helped me gain clarity in that recently I have had many feelings of resentment towards him because he doesn't respond to me in a way where I feel secure. I have this aspect with a girl I'm currently seeing. I'm a male taurus sun and she's a pisces sun. In synastry we have venus opposition pluto (she has pluto in scorpio 25 degreee while i have venus in taurus in 15 degree) I also have pluto sagittarius 4 degree while she has venus in aries in 20 degree which would make us have venus trine pluto in a wide degree. However what I'm confused is who is actually pluto and venus in the relationship. What i mean is that I often identify both with venus and pluto in the relationship. Dear Jewel, what to do, when there is venus opp pluto, venus quint. pluto, pluto conj. ascendant and some more pluto aspects in the synastry with this man but also some "soulmate" aspects/very nice aspects (e.g. moon trine moon, sun trine sun, sun conj vertex, asc. conjunct north node, mc conj ac. and many more)? I am caught between thinking "I will never meet someone like you again in my life!" and thinking that it may only be an irrational obsession due to all the pluto contacts. We are not in a relationship. so I don't know if I should cut him out of my life (it would hurt immensely) or ifthis would be a huge mistake...

@GreyCat Meow will as the venus one I can't tell he moved away awhile back, but as the pluto one i had the opposition also to one guy before, i was definitely the pluto one as this video explains, i think you could think about it like that as the pluto i was obsessed i wanted to have him to be mine and no one else's i found him beautiful and wanted him to give me that beauty, he was a taurus venus at last degrees so he was quite sensual, but i don't think i acted more like venus at all, i think the venus one will be interested and maybe likes the attention, but it was definitely horrible for me as the pluto we we're in a group of friends and i had to cut communication with him because i needed to get myself back together so it's strange to everyone, but your feelings will be very intense and ugly i think depends on your chart as well, hope that'll inform you in any way

I’ve read somewhere that 3 degrees for outer planets, that’s being generous. For personal planets I’ve seen 5 degrees, some 7 degrees and some very generous go by 10 degrees for personal/inner planets.
