I know the pain and grief. I lost my only son age 54 from sudden death heart attack three years ago. Since July 2 2018 my world has become small dark and thorny. You are blessed to know some part of your loved one is still alive and gave life.
As a liver/kidney transplant recipient I am very touched by these hero walks. Before my transplants I had no idea of what went into it. What I do know is that someone's unselfish love for others saved my life. I would like to hug each one of you for you are loved, appreciated and will be blessed.

I’m so glad I’m registered organ donor after I’m gone I’ll be helping some one for a new life.
I hope when my time is over this is done for me!!! I'm definitely gonna be an organ donor

I registered on the organ donor list.... I opted out! They get a blood donation from me 3 times a year. Isn't that enough?
I a too and proud. I just don’t know as my husband claims they can use organs from near 80 years old persons.

I’m registered organ donor and I now give blood every 3 months.
I give blood. That's how I save lives, and some of that blood will go to finding cures for various illnesses.
