Damn, I just can't believe I skipped some of these early Tiffany-hosted episodes. Or didn't watch all the way through. Now that I've read a big chunk of indie comics it's an absolute delight watching/rewatching everything. Hopefully we'll get more indie stories featured on the channel!! There's dozens of wonderful ones.
He was definitely sick, able to film a little bit of Off The Rack with us, but Back Issues was just too much for his voice and how tired he was. But he is doing better!
_Saga_ has got one of the most riveting art in all of the comic books (I have ever read) and somehow it really fits the world of _Saga_, the character designs are so unique which makes it hard to believe that all of it was done by Fiona Staples alone.
Congrats on a full year of Back Issues everyone at TV Little House. I've only begun watching recently but I can proudly say I am a fan of the work you folks do :)
Congratulations on a full year guys and gals I am hoping if we can can do a collaboration someday with my channel and your channel someday if you guys want too Anyways congratulations on as fully year of back issues and I hope you guys have a good day and take care guys TV Little House Comics
this was a story that was suggested to me by literally dozens of different people from different facets of my life that have no connection to each other at all. finally one day I bit the bullet and bought the first volume and I was done with it in 2 hours period and pissed that I had to wait another week till I could go into town and pick up as many volumes as I could. this is an amazing story and if you haven't picked it up I suggest that you do. it is an amazing story with brilliant dialogue from characters that you will almost instantly love
SAGA!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Major points to Ethan for that Romeo and Juliet revelation. I can't believe I never noticed that before, and I've read every issue!
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I’m taking a class on comics and we have to write a paper on a comic of our choosing. I blindly chose Saga vol. 1 based on this episode and now I’m hooked!! I’ve already bought and read volumes 2 and 3
Thanks for a year of great entertainment! Tiff did an awesome job (as usual) with a book that I adore. I had saved up until Saga 25 before I would actually read the series and man, I didn't put it down once until I was caught up. Similar to when I read Fables for the first time, the book just caught my attention and woildn't let go. My favorite arcs are those with The Will and Lying Cat, with LC and Slave Girls interactions in one particular issue being a real tearjerker. This is a book just about anyone who wants to get into comics should read.
Great episode. Saga's pretty crazy, perfect Back Issues material. Although I kinda wish you guys did 52 for episode 52... Also, Ben's West Side Story moment was hilarious.
Tbh my expectations for this episode of back issues dwindled when I realized Sal wasn't in it to tell the story and that it was an image comic no less. But boy was I wrong. Tiffany knocked it out of the park, I seriously want to read Saga now thanks to her. You did well Padawan, you did well. Didn't hurt to have a beautiful girl front and center either lol nothing against Sal who at first glance I mistook for David Beckham... lol congrats on your progress and success guys and gal, I've enjoyed your content every step of the way and will continue to do so.
I can only imagine sick Sal being in bed ill and doing the Dr Strange hand motion thingy to project himself into the room whenever he talks in this video. Congratulations on a great year.
3:16 The fact that this is canon to the channel still and referenced in the Marville episode. Walking Dead is the new World War Hulk. We're NEVER doing it.
A part of me was expecting some really negative backlash to Tiff hosting (because the interwebs likes hating) but I hardly saw any of it, it is amazing. You have one of the better youtube communities guys. Congratulations
Perfect storyline for the 1-year anniversary. Sick Sal = 1st Tiff hosting gig, and it's great! Bought trade count since I started watching Back Issues: 26
Too bad Sal missed the year episode, but this was wonderful! This was one of the few episodes where I have actually read the book being discussed. Congrats on a year of groovy Back Issues episodes! I was actually prepared to see Ben and Ethan talk for an hour. I was so prepared to enjoy it! Saga is such a great series, though! It might be set in this strange, fantasy/sci-fi universe, but it's so familiar because the characters and their struggles are so down-to-Earth.
Congrats on a year of Back Issues! I dig what you guys do, and I dig how you do it. Not only is your stuff entertaining, but it is genuinely informative. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do!
One year, O my god! Thats incredible! I just have to say that this channel make my week, And its amazing that you make this book, Saga is so good. Congrats!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaw yeah! So happy Saga got the Back Issues treatment. Boss job Tiffany! Can't wait for the Hack N Splash follow ups! Also, "What's his name, like... Bill Robot?" Gold.
Going to start this soon. Bought the first 7 trades on sale at Comixology today (65% off Image through Memorial Day). Excited, but just wanted to say, Tiff needs more videos! I don't read too many cape comics, so I prefer the non-cape, supernatural, horror, sci-fi, indie stuff and she seems to be the only one to cover it on the channel.
So happy you did Saga, and Tiffany, yes you do have GREAT taste in comics! Saga came into my life through my mother. She's a avid reader, even more then me. From every single Stephen King, Dean K. , Game of Thrones, Hunger Games, if it's out she's basically reading it. One day she bought Saga off a suggestion, mind you my mom didn't read comics because they were "for kids". Well, well, well....one day I went over and she heads my a trade paper back called Saga, I couldn't believe my eyes! First my mother was handing me a comic, which hadn't happened since I was like 10 years old, and IT WAS ONE I NEVER HEARD OF!?! Either way Saga has been brilliant, it's a hell of a story, beautiful art, and complex if not too familiar of characters(i'm the product of mixed race, and my mother had drug problems when I was growing up, but w as likely the strongest person I have ever met). It's brought my mother, and I closer together and that's the best thing a medium of entertainment can do, bring people together.
Hey, thank you so much for not just checking out the video, but for this really nice story. It really just shows the effect comics can have on people. Honestly, your story is a reminder that comics get us talking (agreeing or disagreeing), feeling and thinking. I think we all need folk in our lives like your mom who can put amazing stories in our hands. Either that, or we need to be those people ourselves!
TheRealZubes thanks a lot tiffany, it means so much to see a reply from you guys every once in awhile. been watching now for 2, maybe 3 months. i became a huge fan of sal as he reminded me of the kind of guys at the comic stores when i was young that couldn't wait to get issues into my hands. i always feel like all of you would be great to have a conversation with, and that invaluable in my book.
Ben Baragona dude Ben! Okay I'm slowly figuring out everyone's different accounts. Thanks a lot too Ben, you're the king of bullshit calls though sometimes just, you know go with it lol. Love what you doing guys!
Thank you so much Tiffany for sharing your passion for Saga, as a fellow fan who's tried to encourage their friends to read it I really appreciate how succinct your summary was.
This really got me excited to finally start reading Saga. Awesome job Tiffany. It seemed like Ben and Ethan were trying to mess with you the whole time. Funny stuff.
Congratulations on a full year of back issues and getting 9000!!! Subscribers. This was a terrific back issue hosted by the lovely Tiffany, which was a nice little change that made it all the more entertaining. I think i'm definitely gonna be picking up saga. I congratulate you guys once more on doing a wonderful, fun, hilarious, insightful and entertaining show like this. I hope you continue to bring lots of joy to all your fan as you have been doing so far :)
I have been watching for some time now but have never commented. Well done the a whole year! I adore Saga, and have been lending it out to friends, so was really excited to see it be used in back issues! Tiffany did a great job at explaining it, especially if I had read it before and was still engaged. Keep up the great work guys! :)
Congratz on the subs and Thank you for best show on youtube! Great job Tiffany on Back issues! Love the long episode and the best part was seeing everyone on the couch at the end! Please can you do Amazing Spider-Man: The Master-Planner Saga run if you can...This was my comic cherry popper!
I have the first volume autographed by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples. Haven't read it yet but I'm still gonna watch this. I don't care about spoilers. Because I'm so excited for this show.
Congrats TV Little House. Thank you Tiffany for doing Saga, it's a comic that I've been trying to get into but everytime friends explained it to me it confused the crap out of me. Also the Landall and Moon war, reminds me of The Kree vs Skrull conflict in Cosmic Marvel.
I love how you're describing the Sextillion. And people who haven't read this will have to use their imagination. There's a tyrannosaurs and a Human Centipede thing going on..that guy's in a suit, those are Angels...
awesome episode!!!! I love that Tiffany talked about Brian K. Vaughan. He is my favorite writer. I loved his run on the Runaway's as well. Have you guys checked out his Mystique run or Pride of Baghdad?
Been watching Back issues for about a week now (have seen most of them now) and I think this episode is top 3 for me. Saga is my girlfriends favorite comic but I have not yet read it, after seeing this I think I will read her trades. Congratulations on a year and I look forward to many more.
I knew this would happen eventually. TV Little House being a victim of an Incursion with Sal being wiped out and being replaced by Tiff as a result. Poor guy. But hey, at least he got to do World War Hulk.
Finally watching this because I'm only just now reading Saga. Ben randomly shouting out the name of a comet from a little later in the story was pretty crazy.
Finally got to read the first trade for this and was surprised to find out that Tiffany wasn't event summarizing lines, she's literally saying what the characters are speaking which I think is awesome and amazing for the story. Good job guys
I have to say I was thrown off at first with Tiff jumping in for Sal but held her own and mixed well with Ben and Ethan. I'm also now very interested in Saga and plan on picking it up, congratulations on 1 year and much love!
This was a great episode! I literally just read saga last week so this was really timely for me. A lot of my friends have been telling me how great this book was but I just never got around to reading before. Anyways, congratulations you guys on your first year.
Hey just wanted to say I'm a huge fan of back issues and I thought this was a great episode about a book I hear a lot of good things about, and it was awesome to have the hack and splash expert Tiffany introduce me too it.
wow I didnt realize how young this channel is. When you guys talk about "those days back when we were TV Little House", it was only like half a year ago haha
Just Some Guy with a Mustache th-cam.com/video/ZrLCt2J9Y7k/w-d-xo.htmlm13s It's when they're talking about the TV head people and he compares them to the robot in Fooly Cooly. A small reference, but I'm so happy about it.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache indeed, I have dabbled in anime. Not as much as Tiffany (who is well versed in the subject) but I have some. First series I ever saw was Trigun, and I fell in love with this story of a man who would go to such lengths to help and protect others.
Saga is the book that got my girlfriend to read comics. And she reads Dan Brown and vampire/angel romances FFS. Saga is hands down the best thing on the stands.
I have never been interested in saga before this, so I decided to play this during my workout, and just about fell of the treadmill when those chicks without bodies and just legs showed up LMAO. Great video btw, wish I had given this video a watch sooner
I put a comment like this on your letters page, but are you doing Watchmen? It is my favorite comic due to the psychological views on... things it would be the world to me if you do it and would be my favorite back issues. thanks you guy make more of an impact in my and hopefully a lot of comic book readers lives. I don't care if you had a Billion subs you deserve 10 times as much as you get, thank you guys and gal keep it up.
Half-way into watching this video I realized you are the only people on youtube I'd actually enjoy meeting. Creepy nature of the phrasing aside...that's from the heart.
I legit wish I had friends like you guys. None of my friends like to talk comic, a depressing life, I lead.
Talk like Yoda, it makes me.
Friends in this community, you have.
we are legion join us
Have your back, Grievousish does.
Need your help, I do not, Grievous.
Apart of the Separatists, you are.

_"Post Traumatic Static Disorder"_ ~ _The Ben_
Just gold. xD
Back issues: Tiff edition.
She was great in this, all four of them should be in back issues from time to time.
Love having Tiffany on back issues explaining an indie book, not sure if sal was actually sick or not but if he is hope you feel better
He was definitely sick, able to film a little bit of Off The Rack with us, but Back Issues was just too much for his voice and how tired he was. But he is doing better!

Btw, Y: The Last Man is one of the best comic series ever written.
Indeed it is
meh
Yessssss ❤
Congrats on a year of back issues! I love that by the end of the video, Tiffany finally submits to referring to Izabel as Torso.
In my head, Izabel was spelled Isabelle, so when I read your comment I was thinking, "Who does she call Torso? Because Torso is Torso."
Tbh my expectations for this episode of back issues dwindled when I realized Sal wasn't in it to tell the story and that it was an image comic no less. But boy was I wrong. Perfect storyline for the 1-year anniversary. Sick Sal = 1st Tiff hosting gig, and it's great!
Bought trade count since I started watching Back Issues: 26
Even though I'm happy that Tiffany is on, that first two minutes was some of the best TH-cam I've ever seen.
That cause we're professionals. (Professional whats, I have no idea). But we love improv, so thanks!
Too bad Sal missed the year episode, but this was wonderful! This was one of the few episodes where I have actually read the book being discussed. Congrats on a year of groovy Back Issues episodes! Congratulations on a year of back issues! You keep making them, I will keep watching them. Have not missed one yet. Thanks again.
This is the only series I follow, have all the paperbacks to date! Thanks so much for doing this :)

Ben Baragona Will do Ben. You guys just keep being awesome!
About time Tiffany overthrew sal. How'd you do it? Poison? Dagger in the back? Lol. Glad we got a indi back issues and congrats to 9K!
She knows his weakness. Tamper with the Coke and you'll take down the man. D:
That coke count is high!

This Was and Awesome Episode!!!! Tiffany Did a great Job!!!! Standing in. Great Work.
Tiff did a great job for her first official back issues. I liked the saga story. It's only been one year let's keep going
Those head-leg-ians are burned into my brain. Cannot be unseen!
And children
Congrats on one year! This was awesome lol. Get well soon Sal
Just read the first 11 issues I love this book, the compendium was a great gift to myself self for Christmas.
Man, I'm a huge fan of saga. Volume 7 is about to be published. I watch this series and it rekindles my love for this graphic novel.
It took me a long time to finally read Saga. The Binge Mode pod (RIP) highly recommended it, and I'm so happy I dove in.
awesome episode!!!! I love that Tiffany talked about Brian K. Vaughan. He is my favorite writer. I loved his run on the Runaway's as well. Have you guys checked out his Mystique run or Pride of Baghdad?
Been here since the start but went back 7 years later wanted to hear ye guys talk about Saga 😎
I finally read vol 1 so I can watch this ep now haha and not worry about being spoiled
Been watching Back issues for about a week now (have seen most of them now) and I think this episode is top 3 for me. Saga is my girlfriends favorite comic but I have not yet read it, after seeing this I think I will read her trades. Congratulations on a year and I look forward to many more.
Revenant77x Thank you! When you get hooked, make sure you let her read the new issues first ;)
I knew this would happen eventually. TV Little House being a victim of an Incursion with Sal being wiped out and being replaced by Tiff as a result. Poor guy. But hey, at least he got to do World War Hulk.
He was never meant to review World War Hulk! Now the Illuminati has come to remove his and attempt to prevent that from every happening.
Bring back Sal! Tiffany will never be able to replace that eye candy! Lol! J/K, Tiffany did great and should be on more.
I just read Saga because of this video, great comic. Tiff did really well, would like to see her do more Back Issues indy books!
This was a great episode! Congrats on a whole year
I have to say I was thrown off at first with Tiff jumping in for Sal but held her own and mixed well with Ben and Ethan.

Thanks for being a fan!

xD the start was complete gold!
wow still tv little house and still under 9000 subs? How far you guys have come. This is awesome.
kept on talking about saga so i finally had to watch
Back watching this again after using it to introduce another person to saga.
Ha! Ben just made a reference to FLCL!
Thank you sir, my day has been made.
WHERE? Specifically, WHEN?
Just Some Guy with a Mustache th-cam.com/video/ZrLCt2J9Y7k/w-d-xo.htmlm13s
It's when they're talking about the TV head people and he compares them to the robot in Fooly Cooly. A small reference, but I'm so happy about it.
Joshua Williams So what you're saying is, Ben has (at least) dabbled in anime?
Just Some Guy with a Mustache indeed, I have dabbled in anime. Not as much as Tiffany (who is well versed in the subject) but I have some. First series I ever saw was Trigun, and I fell in love with this story of a man who would go to such lengths to help and protect others.
Saga is the book that got my girlfriend to read comics. And she reads Dan Brown and vampire/angel romances FFS.
Saga is hands down the best thing on the stands.
First off, Ethan's shirt is great. 2nd off, great book, great Back Issues.
Oh man! I need to get this comic book!
I really enjoyed this video, saga is an epic series
Tiffany, you rock.
Great job Zubes!
One note: if I recall correctly, the language of the Moonies is the "real" Earth language of Esperanto.
Oh, and of course, congrats on hitting the one-year mark to all of TVLH!
Wow, Esperanto? That's hilarious.
I have never been interested in saga before this, so I decided to play this during my workout, and just about fell of the treadmill when those chicks without bodies and just legs showed up LMAO. Great video btw, wish I had given this video a watch sooner
Just another amazing episode of back issues. Great show, great story, Tiffany is a naturel. Get well soon Sal.
Finally Saga on Back Issues, No Sal to lead the conversation?
I put a comment like this on your letters page, but are you doing Watchmen? It is my favorite comic due to the psychological views on... things it would be the world to me if you do it and would be my favorite back issues. thanks you guy make more of an impact in my and hopefully a lot of comic book readers lives. I don't care if you had a Billion subs you deserve 10 times as much as you get, thank you guys and gal keep it up.
We might, but it would have to be something other than Back Issues, as all three of us have read it.
cant wait for volume 2
Half-way into watching this video I realized you are the only people on youtube I'd actually enjoy meeting. Creepy nature of the phrasing aside...that's from the heart.
Thank you, that's definitely a compliment!
Kind of disappointed you guys didn't do 52 for the 52nd episode... but it's your show!
+Noah Gordon We're so glad we did this book for our 52nd episode! It's one of the best, and the reactions are fantastic!
