    2 questions
Cracking: Where do you store your bike? Inside or out? I wonder if tires crack because they are outside with bigger temperature / humidity change.
Seating: Do you use compressor? Or one of those reservoir thingies (airshot as an example)
I think compressors are 100% best option and work pretty much every time with modern tubeless tires.
But I don't have one so I use airshot. I had airshot not able to seat as well. In those moments I'm a little wasteful and use CO2 inflator. That thing never failed to seat a tire so far.
But I wanna get a compressor so I don't waste co2 cartridges for a dumb reason.

I'm in southern California so it's a Mediterranean climate and the bike is in the garage and sees a ride or 2 per week With this specific tire and wheel combo I had to use a compressor.
However when I moved the front tire, that has a bit more life left in it, to the rear I was able to seat the tire with both a floor pump and an airshot type of reservoir pump by lifting the bead up onto the upper part of the rim on each side with a tire lever, if that makes sense.
Be careful with the compressor as there are videos/pics online of carbon wheels (Hunt) basically exploding when using a compressor while seating. a tire

Agree about getting them to cleanly seat on the rim. Totally horrible.
They are nice to ride on (once seated, otherwise it’s like cycling on a 50p)
I did find them quite susceptible to puncturing and not sealing very well. Had to resort to inner tubes in the end.

I just moved the front tire to the back to get a few more miles from it and I’m having the same issue with it not seating correctly, even used the soapy water method to no avail. Setting in the sun has helped in the past. The new 28mm pro version did seat without issue so maybe the 30mm (in my case) on a 18mm rim has something to do with it? Thanks for watching!

You might want to check the tire wear indicators more often
